Re: Where have all the browser extensions gone?

Maybe the maintainer Venin didn't care about Opera anymore? Maybe you can ask him/her in viewtopic.php?t=7749 ?

FWIW: SABctrl is still there for Chrome.

Krijg constant een '"502 authentication failed"

Help :)

Oplossing: vul in reader.newsconnection.nl https://www.appelboor.com/cgi-bin/check_newsserver.py?server=...

The regular program log file should still have had this info in any case.
... you mean sabnzbd.log?

If so, @SparkyRih ... can you check your sabnzbd.log?

Re: sabnzbdplus won't run anymore

@jcfp ... if you're reading this: could the service log why it failed, for example "port 8080 in use"?

Re: sabnzbdplus won't run anymore

'node' is probably nodejs (a javascript engine).

If you kill it, and check port 8080 is unused, can you start sabnzbd as a daemon?

Re: sabnzbdplus won't run anymore

OK, do this:
start sabnzbdplus from the CLI, and wait until it 'hangs'.
then type

Code: Select all

netstat -apon | grep -i listen | grep -vi listening
post the output here

Re: sabnzbdplus won't run anymore

When I try to run the sabnzbdplus deamon manually it appears to "hang" at the line: SSL verification test: True
I think that is not a hang; I think SAB is running. Did you try to access SAB with your webbrowser?

Re: Stats when sabyenc is installed?

The current SAB does not run at all without sabyenc module, so that is hard (or: very easy) to measure.

If you go back a few versions, SAByenc is optional, so you can do a few benchmark runs with and without SAByenc.

Re: Simple Extract File from Folder

I had a glance at it, but I don't see the problem right away.

I would do this: put print statements in your code that print the values of the variables.

Re: Simple Extract File from Folder

SAB is on Windows and I've tried a couple versions with a batch file and with python. I managed to get one in python that does exactly what I want when using in a test folder, but when I use it through SAB it plays reallllly funky and tries to delete folders out of the SAB install. Can you post the...

Re: False .jig files in series

For anyone else reading this: Based on @redmarks logs the problem seems to be a circular one caused by a failing server: 1) Server 1 says the file is missing 2) Server 2 is tried 3) 502 (limit exceeded) error from Server 2 -> causes SAB to say: "We will try Server 2 again in 10min" 4) Hung-download...

Re: Performance of sabnzbd using a NAS

That is a good question. Certainly before you buy your NAS. I have a quad ARM device, and SAB achieves 11 MB/s (so about 100 Mbps) on it. So I expect you're good with the NAS. One important note: that is the modern SABnzbd with the binary SAByenc module available and working. You need to check if th...
