Re: Forum offline -> SABnzbd Status dialog content doesn’t load

maybe because SAB determines its public IPv4 via the option http://127.0.0.1:8080/config/special/#selftest_host which defaults to http://self-test.sabnzbd.org/ ? Should be testable by filling out another host that is not reachable. And if so, there should be a (short) timeout on that detection EDIT ...

Re: Run SABNzbd version 2.3.8 on a windows 10 machine

SABnzbd will not ask for a password to start up. Anyway: on your Windows, in the right lower corner, there is a yellow SABnzbd arrow (maybe collected under the windows bar arrow up), right? Right click on it, Troubleshoot -> Restart without Login. And, after that: upgrade to current version of SABnz...

Re: Upgrade from 2.3.9 on Debian 10 Buster

The update guide for Debian should be here on the forum. But please note the sticky https://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?p=60238#p60238 says Edit: with version 3.0.0, direct use of the PPA on Debian is no longer an option. Re: Sabnzbd crashes but no errors [Ubuntu]

Ah, that's a real crash. That's bad. Did you google the 3rd line of your logging? Did you look at the 5th, last line of your logging Did you uninstall and reinstall SABnzbd? Did you run memtest86+ on your HP Microserver Gen 8? Keeping an eye on /var/log/kern.log might be easier / more useful than on...

Re: Sabnzbd crashes but no errors [Ubuntu]

OK, so postproc2.sab looks normal.
It was on that instance, but the next time it crashed it was something else
Please tell what.

As this looks like real crashes:
what is in /var/log/apport.log ?

What kind of system is it? What kind of hardware exactly?

Re: SABnzbd v3.1.1 for NAS on Synocommunity?

I notice updates don't come through on the community download page on the Synology NAS when it's available. Well my Synology Package Center tells me there is a SAB update: 3.2.1, with ionice. So updating right now I can install it manually but it doesn't accept .exe or .tar files. I can get plex up...

Re: Connection is not secure warning

Hi! SABnzbd 2.3.2 running on a High Sierra (10.13.4) iMac here. We're on 3.2.1, so upgrade SAB Or turning off HTTPS Yes, do that. without logging onto SABnzbd (as this is exactly what I cannot do)? Well, you can tell your browser to accept the connection. In Chrome, the page shows an Advanced button.
