Re: Please Add support for TAR files

I would need to learn the scripting language, and the rules to follow under a unix/linux environment. Correct. Too bad the developers won't implement that in addition to the support for .rar and .zip files..... It's all about time. As you can spend time to learn scripting and improve the script. Ti...

Re: Please Add support for TAR files

That's too little information. It's becoming a back-and-forth.

As you use Unraid Server, have you considered to improving the shell script yourself?

Re: Please Add support for TAR files

Use this altered script:

Code: Select all

#!/bin/bash
set -e # bail out in case of any problem
echo "$1"
cd "$1"
pwd
find . -name "*.tar" -type f -print0 | xargs -0 tar -xvf
dir

Re: API key incorrect, Use the API key from Config->General in your 3rd party program: 127.0.0.1 [SABnzbd/3.4.2]

As you mention systemctl: do you think systemctl has to do with it? Do you get the error if you run SABnzbd from CLI, like "python3 /path/to/SABnzbd.py"? Back to your error: API key incorrect, Use the API key from Config->General in your 3rd party program: 127.0.0.1 [SABnzbd/3.4.2] It seems SAB is c...

Sander,

When I ran sudo service sabnzbd start, it redirect to /bin//systemctl start sabnzbd.service
Same error as the link to hastebin
No, that is not what I meant. Just run sabnzbd like this:

Code: Select all

python3 /some/path/SABnzbd.py
Does that work?

Re: Unable to start sabnzbd on CentOS7

So: https://hastebin.com/focuhajoko.yaml

First things first. Can you run Sabnzbd from the CLI? So without systemctl.

A simple "Unpack successful" would suffice.
then put

Code: Select all

echo "Unpack successful"
as last line the untar_it.sh post-processing script.

Thanks for trying though :-) Any other suggestions?
Yes:
* run SABnzbd from source: https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/installation/i ... ce-windows ... but only try that if you understand that. If that works ... while you'r there, create a binary yourselft ... :)
* run older SABnzbd

Ok... some progress....
Now I get
"ScriptExit(-1) Cannot run script /config/untar_it.sh"
With SSH, login on your Unraid Server. There and then:

Code: Select all

/config/untar_it.sh blablabla
What is the result?

Re: Please Add support for TAR files

Use this NZB with a tar file on your setup: https://www.appelboor.com/dump/reftestnzb___tar-file___92c85a37874f.nzb Do you get a tar file? If so, proceed: This is the post-processing script that takes care of untarring a tar file: #!/bin/bash set -e # bail out in case of any problem echo "$1" cd "$1...

Re: Please Add support for TAR files

I'll make and test the PP script

You have to put it on your Unraid Server. Read only the first paragraph of https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/scripts/post-p ... ng-scripts

Check question: can you access your Unraid Server via ssh?
