Re: Speeds capped about 1MB/s when running on a VM

What happens when you create a new VM with a fresh SABnzbd setup?

Do not touch bandwidth settings.

Re: Speeds capped about 1MB/s when running on a VM

After a download, in the Wrench, is there anything about "download speed limited by"?

How many connections have you have defined per newsserver?

Have you set a download bandwidth limit?

Have you tried with the reference test download via the Wrench?

Where on earth are you?

Yes, also SABnzbd docker on Linux is slower than SABnzbd straight on Linux.

Re: Download speeds and folder speeds slow in docker

SABnzbd on docker is slower than SABnzbd straight on Linux

SABnzbd on docker on Windows has yet another layer: Linux VM is in between. So indeed slower.

A fix? Run SABnzbd straight on Windows for the best speed.

Re: Where is the log file for warnings and errors of sabnzbd queue?

We can spend more and more time on that ... or we can spend time on your original remark:

"the next day I wanted to fix them"

My question to you: how do you want to fix them?

Re: Where is the log file for warnings and errors of sabnzbd queue?

Did you check inside sabnzbd.log? Because when I add a broken .NZB to SAB, SAB does tell it in the GUI and in sabnzbd.log, for example 2024-04-02 17:44:50,607::WARNING::[nzbstuff:787] Invalid NZB file broken.nzb, skipping (error: not well-formed (invalid token): line 9, column 0) full logging in sab...

Re: Items stop unpacking / downloading - Keep having to reinstall sabnzbd

Nothing? If so ... possible causes: * SABnzbd paused (wait, no: the Test download is forced, so will always happen) * scheduled to not download * bandwidth in SAB set to 0 Mbps * no server active * ... Check above. Two additional approaches: 1) set SAB logging to +Debug, add the Test download, and s...

Re: Items stop unpacking / downloading - Keep having to reinstall sabnzbd

What if you download a test file: SABnzbd -> Wrench (upper right corner) -> Test Download: 1GB.

What is the result?

Re: RSS items not unpacking

In SAB, go to that RSS feed.
In the top, it will say "Order Type Filter Category Priority Processing "
In the column Processing, it should say "Default", or even better "+Delete"

Re: Slow downloads after moving ISP

OK, good find. Maybe the in-between caused slowness due to ... packetloss?

And SABnzbd news download now also back to old levels (when directly connected)?

Re: Slow downloads after moving ISP

> Hi, on the speed check site 180 Mbps Then contact your ISP: you pay for 1000 Mbps, so then 180 Mbps is much too low. It might be your LAN, but let your ISP determine it. ping times: what do you get with news.newsdemon.com ? And what if you fill that out in SABnzbd? SAB will find the quickest serve...

Re: Slow downloads after moving ISP

That's bad.

What is your ping time to the newsservers?

> Internet Bandwidth 20.1 MB/s 160.8 Mbps

Not good either if you have a 1000 Mbps connection. On the same system, what is your speed on https://fast.com/ ? And on another PC on your LAN?

Re: 4.2.3 Update led to unrar no longer working (LSIO via docker on Synology)

I'm having the same problem on a OMV6 install. Using an AMD A8-3870 APU and 16gb ram. The AMD A8-3870 is a CPU from 2011, so old x86-microarchicture. And rar7 dumps core on that. Not in the hands of the SABnzbd team. Workaround is doing the job for me as well, but it would be nice if there would be...

Re: Warning - giganews: Received unknown status code 503 for article ****

The 503 is correctly handled in the first version after 4.2.3

If you want to verify that now: run the docker nightly, or the windows binary from github
