Re: SAB closes moments after starting

Yes: open a CMD box, go to Program FIles ... SABnzbd, and the start/type sabnzbd-console.exe

Post the full output to pastebin.com, and post the URL here like pastebin . com / asjdlfkjlakjsdf

Re: Errors trying to update to 4.1.0 on Debian 12

Then that sabctools 7.0.2 is probably installed elsewhere. Find out where by doing this: $ python3 Python 3.9.2 (default, Feb 28 2021, 17:03:44) [GCC 10.2.1 20210110] on linux Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> import sa...

Re: Errors trying to update to 4.1.0 on Debian 12

I'm a bit of a Linux newbie
Curious: why did you choose Debian then? Debian is not the easiest Linux.

Anyway:
Successfully installed ... sabctools-7.1.2 ...
... looks good to me. So start ./SABnzbd.py again?

Re: Another Corrupt RAR file issue

I wonder: with SAB on your QNAP, if you do the same download a few times: can you check the md5sum's of the rar's? Are the same, or do they change per download? And how do they compare to the succesfull download with SAB on your Mac? but completed successfully in NZBGet If you repeat it: each time i...

Downloading the 100MB, 1GB and 10GB test files all succeed on the QNAP NAS.
And what if you download the same post with SAB on Mac?

That will make clear if it's a SAB problem, or a QNAP/HW problem.

Re: "_FAILED_xyz" folder left in main download directory - why?

There is nothing in the logs that pertain to these folders, neither that sab created them, nor that it tried to delete them and failed. Really? Logging set to +DEBUG? Because I see this in my logging: sander@haring1:~$ cat .sabnzbd/logs/sabnzbd.log* | grep FAILED 2022-08-04 08:49:47,301::DEBUG::[fi...

Re: Sabnzbd 4.0.3-0ubuntu1~jcfp1~22.04 fails to start

This boils down to sabnzbd not being able to import guessit python package. running python3 in console and trying to do: import guessit results in the same error. So a problem with python3 package guessit on your Ubuntu, and not with SABnzbd itself? I usually take the bruteforce trial-and-error app...

Re: Extracting 1GB test file fails - v4.0.3 Ubuntu

Code: Select all

/home/<USERNAME>/Downloads/extdrive/nzb/incomplete/
"extdrive", so I assume that is an external drive. If so, my first step would be: put Incomplete and Complete on your internal drive, and try again.

If that succeeds, you have found the cause: bad drive.
