I found my problem. Previously, all streaming while downloading (cache, temp folders and so on) were set up to use my NAS box... that apparently seemed to cause the problem. Now I set everything up to use local, except the Completed Download Folder... and now it all works and I'm downloading at 5mb/...

Well I suppose I can try a different usenet client to see how that goes... just to test it.

But I can tell you.. if I for example download an iso image - linux based - then I run at around 6mb/sec

Hey - Sorry for the slow reply. No.. I do not get any error messages... When download starts.. I get up to around the regular speed that my 50mbit can download.... between 5-6mb/sec.. then it drops and keeps dropping speed - and that starts sometimes after 10 seconds, other times after a minute or s...

I just tried with two servers and different SSL ports... it keeps doing the same...

This is seeeeeriously driving me mad.

I also have this problem... have anyone found a verified solution to solve it?
