I've tried that, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Sysload is still high (about 2.9+)

[RC2] Downloads slow
Hi, I'm wondering if it's just me (or one of my settings), but my downloads seem awfully slow. I'm running SABnzbd RC2 on a Ubuntu 10.10 headless server (virtual machine in ESXi 4.1). Configured resources: 2x vCPU @ 2.1GHz 1024mb memory. 250GB hdd. SABnzbd config: __version__ = 19 [misc] queue_compl...

Re: Password for https only
IE8 allows saving of passwords in the prompt for passwords window, so you should work with that I guess.Eejit wrote:Hmm, http://USER:[email protected]:8080/sabnzbd doesn't work for me using IE8 :(pair of dimes wrote: Duumke save your bookmark like http://USER:PASS@localhost:8080
Chrome doesn't allow that.

Thanx !!!pair of dimes wrote: Duumke save your bookmark like http://USER:PASS@localhost:8080
Using a web browser extension like nzbdstatus or sabconnect++ should also auto-login
This works great.

Re: Password for https only
Thanx for the fast reply.
This sounds like a great way to work around it.shypike wrote: However, you can let most web browsers save the password.

Using Chrome that isn't an option (at least not for as far as I've seen).shypike wrote: In some later release we'll implement persistent logins through cookies.

Password for https only
I wanted to know if it's possible to only require a password on the https and not on http.
This will allow me to open up the https port to the internet (securely) and don't need to set a password on the internal side (http).
I hope this is possible.

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!
RuudBurger could you please add a way to disable check for updates, as well as the notifications for this? I run a script that takes care of updates for me, and do not want to do this through the CP web interface. Could you post that script? I'm interested in keeping up to date automatically as wel...

Isn't it possible to make it an option in the config?RuudBurger wrote: @vdown
It does a search for all the movies every 7 days. So it does pick those up, but with a delay of 7 days max
Waiting 7 days kinda defeats the use for Couch Potato cause I would have looked it up manually by then...

Re: Sign up to become an Official SABnzbd Tester
If you're still looking for testers, I'd like to join in. I'm running SABnzbd on a Windows 2008 R2 (64-bit) virtual machine (based on Citrix Xenserver). Also I have a 60mbit connection to the internet as well as a 60mbit usenet subscription. As a final, I could translate to Dutch if you're going to ...

Re: Opstarten
Kan het niet zijn dat SAB nog op de achtergrond actief is?
Het zou namelijk ook kunnen zijn dat de poort die SAB gebruikt voor de web interface al in gebruik is (bijvoorbeeld door een andere instantie van SAB).

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody knows how to create a service for SABnzbd+ on a Windows 2008 server machine.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Auto resume when space becomes available.
A full disk can really be a problem. But when you configure the downloads like I do, it isn't a problem when your incomplete disk runs out of space. I've got an partion on my system just for the incomplete downloads. The complete's will be moved to another partition/disk. Both of them aren't my syst...

Auto resume when space becomes available.
Hi, It would be nice to have an auto resume function. This so the downloads pause when you're running out of disk space and resume again when disk space becomes available again. It happens (especially on slower computers) that post processing (for example) will take up more time than downloads. Ther...
