Re: Missing articles but not trying backup?

Yes server is enabled with 5 connections set. Pressing test says connection successful. It's only some downloads, others fail over and use the backup no problem. Am wondering are there different categories of missing articles? Some downloads that fail I see the speed drops to zero and it appears to ...

Missing articles but not trying backup?

I've recently been trying to download some files but getting failed to unpack not enough repair blocks... Par for the course these days. However mousing over the download while it is in progress I can see the missing article count steadily creeping up, this is generally a good indication that the do...

Re: Whole season packs problems

I'm running on mac so Winrar is not an option. I have a feeling it would choke too though as the problem is really knowing what file is what. I have identified a few files that look like the first rar of an episode, but there is no obvious way to identify the 2nd, 3rd, 4th file etc... On closer insp...

Re: need help before i go crazy, please

Sounds like a permissions problem. Is sabnzbd running on on the NAS box itself or another computer attached to the network? If it is on the NAS you could try creating the directory manually and checking the permissions. Otherwise check what path the NAS is actually mounted as on the computer that sa...

Re: Whole season packs problems

Do you know how to manually unpack these posts?

The data all seems to be there I just can't make sense of any of the file names.

Whole season packs problems

I've run across a few nzbs lately that sabnzbd completes with no errors, but the resulting output is not usable. They are typically whole season blue ray rips from a group called ROVERS. The resulting output contains 100s of files with names like: 137530-0.0 137530-0.0.1 137530-0.0.2 137530-0.0.3 13...

Re: Attn: Virgin Media Broadband Users - Use port 443 + SSL

Virgin media user here. Was consistently getting 5.0 mb/s using this config. Today it has dropped to ~400 kb/s! Anybody else having similar problems?

Re: nzbs.org down

It's still down for me! Pinging nzbs.org [217.23.6.101] with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Ping statistics for 217.23.6.101: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss), BUT I can ping it remotely from https://www.wormly.com/t...

Grouping related content in subfolders

It's great the way sabnzbd automatically categorizes downloads in TV, Movies, Apps etc.. But do you have any suggestions on how to further automatically group related content together. For example I don't like having to scroll through a list of shows all called: TV\Show Name 1x01 TV\Show Name 1x02 T...

Re: _UNPACK_ prefix sometimes won't go away

Strange that microsoft doesn't provide an API for applications to do this kind of operation safely...

Thanks for the workaround though :)

_UNPACK_ prefix sometimes won't go away

Hi, I'm currently running sabnzbd 0.5.6 on Win 7. Although this problem has been happening for months. My downloads are completing and extracting ok. They are even being moved into the completed folder. However about 50% of the time the _UNPACK_ prefix doesn't go away. So some of my downloads look l...

*Slaps self in face*

Wow, thanks.

On a related note, does anyone here have recomendations for software that can download and search headers manually - removing dependance on sites like newzbin?

Censorship on usenet/indexing sites?

Hello, I've been reading the legal news posts on newzbins homepage over the last few months with much trepidation. It seems that best case we can expect newzbin to be heavily filtered in the coming months... Just a few weeks ago as a matter of fact I was able to download a retail dvd rip of Inglorio...

Failed downloads

Recently, the last week or two, a lot of downloads have been failing to extract - saying not enough blocks to repair : have 0 need: 250, or some number like that. This used to happen occasionally and it was usually due to a bad upload, but now it's happening about 50% of the time. My provider is ast...
