Good chance that port 443 for SSL is not blocked for the finance department for online payments and such. If it is blocked, you can say that it is blocked and you need certain websites that need a secure line (SSL).

Re: 2 copies of every download

Do you use nzbdstatus plugin for firefox? If so, check in the settings if "Send NZB files to this deamon" is checked. If it is checked, uncheck it because you probably using another way to import nzb files to sabnzbd and nzbdstatus plugin is also importing it at the same time causing it to...

Re: $100 Dollar "Wall-wart" computer.

Anyone got sabnzbd running on anything similar? What would be the bottleneck? Could it even handle the par2 repairs? Think the bottleneck would be the processor.. The processor is a Marvell sheeva processor. This processor is specially made for dvd players, mobile phones, TV's, Navigation products ...

They also have a speed cap of 1meg/sec for all their plans. Since I have a 6meg dsl connection I wouldn't see any kind of speeds that I consider decent. 1megs/sec per connection and you get 4 connections so speedlimit from "Medium-Use UNLIMITED Plan" is 4megs per sec. the unlimited user I...

after pausing on to less diskspace, automatic start again on enough disk space

After sabnzbd gets forced pause because it has less space then giving in the config in "Minimum Free Space for Temporary Download Folder", it does not un pause when there is enough space. I know having to less diskspace is a serious problem and should not taken light so it's not a good ide...

Re: Change Download Directories in Ubuntu

Where do you change it? do you change the path in the ini file or in the config. Try them both out..

And does the rest get of the settings reset when you restart the program? if so, maybe sabnzbd.ini got it's permissions changed so that sabnzbd can't change it anymore or is write protected

I regularly pull 6MB/sec on my 50mbit connection.  Your 100Mbit connection sounds about as good as your average crapcast cable.

Re: downloaded folders not accessable, wrong folder permissions?

To clarify what Shypike is saying; When you start sabnzbd with "userA" the downloaded files and folders get the permission that "userA" and administrators can edit/view the files and folders. So when you go to the samba share from let's say an xp machine, you access the samba sha...

Re: Sabnzb+ says too little diskspace

what is filled in the box for "Minimum Free Space for Temp. Download Folder"?

check if the temp folder has also free diskspace. maybe you have set the temp folder to a smaller/full harddrive and the download complete folder to the drive with 150gb free.
