Download queue: split # of connections between two files
Bad title, sorry. Perhaps I can explain. This year as both my storage capacity and bandwidth has increased dramatically, I've been downloading a lot of 40-50GB files. I notice with my provider most of the especially old files will not even come close to saturating my line speed (200mbps). An older f...

Re: set priority of Backup Server
With recent changes in how quickly articles are being removed lately, is there any sort of push to raise this as a priority? It's getting to where with some things, you can't even download something the day after it was released, because too many parts have already been removed. I was previously usi...

Re: 0.5.0 "Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked"
roger that, I understand now. At first I was thinking along the lines of making my solution more prominent in this thread for future users or something. Yeah it might be more helpful if the error in the history section said something like, "unrar was unable to create folder" or somethin...

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this, do you need me to edit a post or something?shypike wrote: Perhaps we should display the first error more clearly and skip the rest of the action.

Re: 0.5.0 "Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked"
Okay hopefully this is the last post I make about this, but yeah looks like I wasn't looking close enough at the folder permissions before. It looks like some of the write permissions were restricted on the existing folders for the "Matt" user account. I restored them and the problem wen...

Re: 0.5.0 "Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked"
Downloaded and sorted fine on my system. The log file you sent, contains this error message: 2010-02-21 12:27:41,575::INFO::[misc:741] Creating directories: F:\Usenet\TV\The Series (US)/Season 6\_UNPACK_The Series (US) - 6x15 - Master and Slave 2010-02-21 12:27:41,575::ERROR::[misc:743] Failed maki...

Re: 0.5.0 "Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked"
Code: Select all
%sn/Season %s/%sx%0e - %en.%ext
Let me turn it off and see what happens.
*edit*. Nope same error.
by the way this is the same exact configuration I had on 0.4.12 as far as the sorting goes. Never had a problem with it.

Re: 0.5.0 "Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked"
Please do the following. 1) Turn debug logging on in the connections page of sabnzbd. 2) Close down sabnzbd 3) Locate the logs folder http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/faq#toc15 4) Delete the current logs inside the logs folder. (just to make my job easier) 5) Run sabnzbd and wait until a job fails 6) zip up...

Re: RC6 - "Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked"
well RC3 was working like crazy, now it's back to the error again. Then now and again it will unpack, but most of the time i get the error. For the life of me I can't think of what's going on. Only thing different was I switched form Avira on my old installation to Microsoft Security Essentials; ...

Re: RC6 - "Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked"
Well I'm running .5 RC3 right now, when that began working I dropped plans to go back to 0.4.12. For kicks I replaced the unrar in RC3 with the one from RC6 and it still works fine, I'm assuming because they're identical...

Re: RC6 - "Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked"
Been downloading off and on all day and this thing is Unraring like there's no tomorrow, big files, small files, doesn't matter....seems faster than .4.x as well.... Hasn't messed up once.

Re: RC6 - "Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked"
Please try RC3 again and let me know your results. However, the differences between RC3 and RC6 are small and not related at all to unrar. I'll install RC3 to see if that makes a difference, but when I said "go back" I actually meant 0.4.12 Final, which is what I was using prior to my fo...
