Re: Folder Moving/Sorting
Good morning. So after setting up SAB and SB on my ubuntu box, I decided to do some CM. In my home directory I created a directory called XBMC. Within that directory I created several directories like - Movies, TV, Anime, etc. In the SAB configurations, I went to categories and set up the different...

Error from Newbin
Anyone know what this error is? It happens after all the downloading is done, when it starts to unpack.

Re: Sabnzbd on Unraid, Download speed keeps dropping to zero
opentoe while that option works for you, for me it defeats the point of having the server in the first place. If my pc is going to stay on 24/7 anyways and be downloading and decompressing downloads constantly, then I might as well put the hard drives inside it and do away with the server completel...

Re: Recommended folder locations...
Networked shares are always slower. So, if possible, keep all temporary stuff local. If not possible, set at least an ample article cache in Config->General (if you have the memory) to avoid reading and writing of lots of small temporary files. Please avoid putting "admin" on a share. It'...

Recommended folder locations...
My "Completed Download Folder" is a network share. I also have my logs, admin, and temp folder on a network share also. Does keeping all the folder locations on a network share slow down any process? I heard that making the "temp" folder local is more wise then making it a networ...

Re: Sabnzbd on Unraid, Download speed keeps dropping to zero
I use SABNZBD and write to my unRAID server pretty much a stable 6MB/sec. The thing is I don't run SABNZBD on the unRAID box, it runs on a dedicated Windows computer and just writes to my unRAID box. I would disable SAB on your unRAID box and install it on a Windows computer, download to your unRAID...

I use Sickbeard and SAB. I don't have Sickbeard pass the NZB file to SAB, but just dump the NZB into the watched folder. Is is more efficient or any better to connect the two programs and have Sickbeard pass the NZB directly to SAB or using the watched folder does the job as well? I basically search...

Worth to donate?
I'm fairly a new user and have been liking the software. I have donated to AltBinz software which I think is fantastic. From the experts here, is this software worth a donation? All I do with it is just watch a watchfolder and pick up and NZB's I throw or save in there. Seems to download fine.

When upgrading do I need to make changes?
When I upgrade to a newer version, do I need to go back and re-do all my setup/configs that I had? What if new options are added? So far this little program has been great. I still use AltBinz of course since that has a watchfolder/blackhole also and that program is very configurable.

Re: News server connection/download just stops...
I just uninstalled everything again. I also uninstalled Sickbeard. What happens for some reason is when I connect SAB to Sickbeard the downloading stops. It will find the NZB files, start to downoad them and just stop and stall out. If I remove Sickbeard completely out of the scenario SAB actually w...

What are the real good NZB search sites?
I have paid for a VIP with NZBmatrix.com and was looking for another site that may be really good. Of course the best one everyone recommends is NOT accepting registrations. I use Sickbeard, but only can use NZBmatrix.com for searching. Would it perform better if I had more search ability or somethi...

Re: News server connection/download just stops...
I was able to download just a few files the first day I started to use the program. Just a day later for some reason with nothing being changed it just stalls and doesn't download. Like the picture I inserted in my original post you can see that it is suppose to be in progress downloading but you'll...

News server connection/download just stops...
I use Giganews unlimited for my news service. I can run Altbinz or any other client just fine. For some reason sabnzbd just dies/stops when in the middle of downloading. There are no errors, nothing out of the ordinary. Anyone have any ideas on why this would happen? http://www.photopiks.com/nzbd.jpg
