Re: Can't start SABnzbd [Debian-OMV]

Downgrading to python2.5 SABnzbd 0.5.6 (from ipkg) cleared this up, though I wonder what's so different between 0.5.6 and 0.7.9 - er... db-wise I mean, I've seen that the sabnzbd code has seen massive cleanup as well as new features ;-) In the meantime I've tried to install Sickbeard, which is also ...

Re: Can't start SABnzbd [Debian-OMV]

I am no guru, but I think I have the same issue on my Synology107 (still going strong, yet slow) with 0.7.9 on Python2.5. I'm seeing the same logmessages you posted, however, I also see : 2013-01-14 22:44:45,687::INFO::[__init__:928] Loading data for totals9.sab from /volume1/opt/share/SABnzbd/admin...

Re: Packaged 0.5.3 Synology ipkg SplitHost bug (and workarou

As my wife and I had a baby, you can imagine I have been quite busy elsewhere, I do however apologize for my rather delayed feedback. Today I happened to upgrade to 0.5.6 (the 0.6.* range does not yet appear to be available prepackaged for my trusty Synology ds107). This of course prompted an overwr...

Packaged 0.5.3 Synology ipkg SplitHost bug (and workaround)

I'm posting this mostly to help other Synolgy users, because the error does not seem to lie in the Python code supplied by the SABNZBdplus project. I upgraded my SABNZBdplus 0.5.0 to 0.5.3 on my Synology NAS today, by upgrading through the IPKG packages at http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/s...

Re: ipkg , thanks!!!

FYI: for my Synology ds107+ I use ipkg source http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/syno-x07/cross/unstable Which also contains a well-maintained SABnzbd+ package. Note that the ds107+ (all + affixed Synologies in fact) use the 500MHz ARM Marvel CPU instead of the standard 266MHz PPC. This does ...

Re: SABnzbd Daemon on Wiki

I saw that a general (?) unix daemon start/stop script has been added to the wiki under install as a unix daemon , which is helpful. However, the Gentoo version by mantis006 seems rather useful as well - perhaps this could also be added to the wiki? Additionally, my BusyBox enabled Synology107+ NAS ...

Re: Vista Sidebar Gadget

While the work-around described by RickDB is perfectly fine for me, I think non techy users would be less enthousiastic. Oh well, Piet said he'll add saving settings, so I'll only be a questions of when, not if. With this minor inconvenience (hard-coded) out of the way, I can really recommend this g...

Re: Vista Sidebar Gadget

I have yet to try this out, but it seems to be utterly useful!
Many thanks :D
