I figured out how to get git installed on my Qnap NAS

1. Install Optware .ipkg
2. ssh in and type "ipkg install git"

Done

Looking at the commands this works at Ubuntu / debian It doesn't work on a Qnap NAS. I tried from Ubuntu 10.04 connected to my Qnap and it doesn't see the git command.
