Re: Please Add support for TAR files

sander wrote: October 21st, 2021, 7:05 am Are you still on Unraid Server?
Have you considered a post-processing script?
Yes. Solely on Unraid.
I wouldn't know how to write or use a post processing script.

Re: Please Add support for TAR files

Sure. Here you go but I don't know if you will have access without a subscription.

If you can't then where would you like me to share the nzb file?

Re: Please Add support for TAR files

I saw the discussion and. Am not happy with the conclusion.
You should at least propose that in the switches.
I am in the midst of downloading several tens of heavy posts, each over 40Gb, and all resumes in one TAR file.

Please Add support for TAR files

Hello,
Sabnzbd already decompresses zip files when encountered. Could you add support for tar and maybe other kinds too?

Force unpack tar files

Hello,
I just noticed that Sabnzbd automatically decompresses a zip file after it has been reconstructed (par, rar etc...).
That's great. How can I configure Sabnzbd to do the same when the downloaded file is of another kind such as tar?

I wouldn't do that. I think it will be fine now. Thanks

Re: Sabnzbd is misbehaving lately

To get rid of robot scanners, the most easy thing is: on your router, do not forward 8080 from the outside to 8080 inside, but on the outside use a weird port like 8111 of 16161 (anything below 65000). That way, you limit the chance a robot finds you. Plus, possibly: Since SAB 3.3.0, SAB has more s...

Re: Sabnzbd is misbehaving lately

I always used https and opened ports on my router to access sabnzbd with IOS apps. These problems only started in the last 2 weeks.
Maybe I should do things differently?
And my version is 3.3.0
Please advise

Sabnzbd is misbehaving lately

Hello, My Sabnzbd has been running on my Unraid server for years flawlessly. Lately suddenly I have had all sorts of problems and messages from Sabnzbd. Such as: ERROR 4 hours ago [10/Jun/2021:19:45:34] ENGINE Error in HTTPServer.serve Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python3.9...

Re: Double unpacks?

Hello, Something I don't understand. Why is Sabnzbd unraring while downloading, which is good since it is set to Direct Unpack, and then when the downloading is done, it actually deletes all that it has unrared, rechecks the whole download, and finally unrar, again? Is that a misconfiguration in th...

safihre wrote: July 15th, 2018, 5:01 am Maybe I should extend the time it's allowed to continue after the download finishes. I can do that for version 2.3.5.
Hope this works
Thanks

Re: Direct Unpack does that twice

Any more help about that?
The problem still exists.
I can still see Direct Unpack working, filling the target directory correctly.
And then, right at the end, it is deleted and the whole process starts again, including checking, repair, unpack etc.....
Such a waste

Direct Unpack does that twice

Hello, I was not sure about this problem so I decided to monitor it 3 times with my own eyes. On big downloads, above 50 Gb, direct unpack works fine right until the end. I can see the progression in my download folder. But right at the last moment when it should rename the folder from _UNPACK_ ... ...

Re: Sabnzbd stalling

I am pretty sure this has something to do with permissions. Sabnzbd runs in my Unraid NAS. In the settings page I have set Sab to run under user 'nobody'. And all the folders it is set to work with (incomplete, complete, watched) are all using this path /mnt/user0/MEDIA/Sabnzbd/incomplete , etc... I...
