Re: SABnzbd on Mac

It’s the bit of your command string that says ‘--console’. ;)

Re: Path to NAS (Mac -> QNAP)

Yes, unbelievable. You posted on the QNAP forum asking for help installing SABnzbd on your QNAP , then posted back to say you had done this without saying how. Then, you expect us to know that you had then switched to installing it on your iMac. And to know what paths your particular iMac is mountin...

Re: Path to NAS (Mac -> QNAP)

The SABnzbd application on your iMac is entirely different to the SABnzbd application installed on your NAS. They don't work the same way. The macOS installation probably includes the ability to send items directly into the SABnzbd queue as a full graphical desktop environment is available. You don'...

Re: Path to NAS (Mac -> QNAP)

Nothing works ... What doesn't work? Do you know how to select the NAS as a download location in your web-browser? ... i am ready to give up on this. Don't whine. If you want help, please state exactly what you've done so-far. ... so something is wrong with this app... Your lack-of-detail suggests ...

Re: Cannot log into SABnzbd-2

If you haven't set a UI login name and password, then ensure these fields are empty when you attempt to login to SABnzbd. Web-browsers can unintentionally autofill these login fields with the details of your Usenet server. ;)

Re: Cannot log into SABnzbd

Hi and welcome to the forum. You're confusing the SABnzbd UI login with the Usenet server login for I-Telligent. ;) Your UI login is typically set as something like: [admin:password] and is known only to you. Your Usenet server login details are emailed to you from the Usenet service provider (I-Tel...

Re: Download files are obfuscated or long series of characters

https://pastebin.com/FKniwAYW ... works for me: the result is one .mkv. (FWIW I'm on SABnzbd 3) BUT: the mkv plays badly in VLC. No problems here with SAB3. Yields a 790.5MiB properly titled mkv file, runtime is a bit over 11 minutes, [email protected] video, 224kb/s audio. Plays fine in mpv and VLC ...
