Have you tried the "Shutdown PC" action?

Re: cherrypy and sql query errors

Both Windows 10 (1809) and Server 2019 (1809) automatically delete temporary files that "apps aren't using". There is no apparent configuration parameter to tune this functionality beyond turning it on and off. The setting is buried under storage management along with a bunch of other storage relat...

This only works if you put in a native systemd service yourself, the package doesn't ship one.
Well, we're discussing the git version, not the package, so there's: https://github.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/blob ... 40.service

A "sudo service sabnzbdplus restart" does start the git version, but it ends quickly in a Signal 2:
On my Debian 9.8, this is:

Code: Select all

sudo systemctl restart [email protected]<my user name>.service

extend functionality of 'Add' button?

Using SABnzbd 2.3.7 on Debian 9.7 and viewed with Firefox 65.0 This suggestion is primarily about the "Upload NZB" 'Add' button, but could be extended to the "Fetch NZB from URL" 'Add' button too. Current behavior is: if no file has been selected and the 'Add' button is clicked: https://i.imgur.com/...

permit mixed-case category names?

Hello. Using SABnzbd 2.3.7 on Debian 9.7 I've just noticed if I attempt to alter a category name and use uppercase characters, these are converted to all lowercase after I've hit "save". Examples: 'Movies' becomes 'movies' 'TV' becomes 'tv' 'not in SickChill' becomes 'not in sickchill' Would it be p...

WHY is this so needlessly complicated?
You are welcome to code your own solution. One that isn't "so needlessly complicated". ::)

Re: issue warning when external script is not executable?

Well, it may lead to support questions like “why can’t SABnzbd see my script?

Then my first question would be “is it executable?;)

Re: issue warning when external script is not executable?

Thanks @safihre.

What if the choice of listed scripts shows only the executable ones? Then the user wouldn’t be able to select a non-executable script.

issue warning when external script is not executable?

Hello, I've just been caught-out by this again. :( I'm trying a new external Python post-processing script, and I forgot to set the executable bits on it. I was able to select this script via the SAB UI but SAB didn't complain until it attempted to run the script. It then told me the script wasn't e...

Re: Sabnzbd crashing on qnap

Suggest adding a line to your crontab structured like this:

Code: Select all

0 * * * * /etc/init.d/sabnzbd.sh start
... but this isn't added in the "usual" Linux way.

Due to customisations QNAP have made to their cron system, you'll need to follow the wiki instead: https://wiki.qnap.com/wiki/Add_items_to_crontab

Re: Sabnzbd crashing on qnap

Agree @safihre, it may be better for @nis14 to regularly start SABnzbd via cron.
