Re: Computer specifically for sabnzbd

And which one of the three: the Celeron, the i3, or the flat box? It depends on the fiber/dsl/cable linespeed you have, and the download speed you want to achieve. FWIW: I just bought a Gigabyte GB-BLCE-4105 PC/workstation barebone J4105 ( with a Celeron CPU, see https://www.gigabyte.com/Mini-PcBare...

Upgrading my Ubuntu worked, Python updated to 2.7.12 in the process.
Cool! I love it when a plan comes together. :)

The host uses a cloudflare ssl certificate that requires client-side SNI support. Needs Python >= 2.7.9 iirc.
Ah, of course. Smart thinking.

SABnzbd 2 should have a warning against Python < 2.7.9.

Python 2.7.6 is quite old too. It was released 6 years ago. ;)
Ah ... ! And python 2.7.6 was included in Ubuntu 14.04, and Ubuntu 14.04 was supported until April 2019 ... so not anymore.

So, OP, your Ubuntu is not supported anymore, you can expect all kinds of problems. Upgrade your Ubuntu

Re: Trying to fetch... _ssl.c:510: error:14077410:ssl routines:ssl23_get_server_hello:sslv3 alert handshake failure

OK, so that is a problem with your Ubuntu / python (or maybe your router / firewall / ISP), not with SABnzbd.

I cannot help to solve that.

As a workaround you could try http://nzbs.in/ instead of https://nzbs.in/

Re: Trying to fetch... _ssl.c:510: error:14077410:ssl routines:ssl23_get_server_hello:sslv3 alert handshake failure

Clear. On your Ubuntu, what do you get when you run this: This: python -c "import urllib2; response = urllib2.urlopen('https://nzbs.in/'); print response.info()" and this script: #!/usr/bin/env python import urllib2 request = urllib2.Request("https://nzbs.in/", headers={'User-agent': 'Mozilla/5.0'})...

Re: MacOS Catalina: Error "[Errno 86] Bad CPU type in executable" while running rar_unpack on

Catalina again ... Catalina is quite disruptive ... there is quite something on. Did you google "[Errno 86] Bad CPU type in executable"? First Google hit tells me "For future googlers, the problem with convert here is that macOS Catalina dropped support for 32-bit executables." So did you check the ...

Re: Disk space not reported correctly on Mac Catalina

Catalina has extra security features which prevent random, full disk access for applications (like SABnzbd). See https://github.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/issues/1343

So maybe this is related? No access granted, so no disk space ... ?

Re: Pushing NZBs to Sabnzbd+ via API extremely slow!

Simulate NZB-add-via-API using something like

Code: Select all

curl -v http://192.168.1.1:8080/sabnzbd/api -F apikey=8da6c9215826c05ebac0c9526697cb46 -F mode=addfile -F output=xml -F "[email protected]/home/sander/Downloads/mynzb.nzb"

Depends how you add (this) NZB to SABnzbd ... . Possible input ways:

as URL via the GUI
via RSS in SABnzbd
via Sonar, radar, sickrage, etc, etc

Re: exfat not handled correctly

I bought a 64GB SD card, put it into my Ubuntu Linux, and Ubuntu did not recognize it.
