Secondary and/or smpl does not Unpack and Delete files ?

Hi, I see something strange: the result of the last 5 downloads is a directory full with .par and .rar files. So there is no Unpacking and no Deleting. My first guess is that this is caused by the fact that I am now using the second interface with smpl to add NZBs to the queue. I'll do another downl...

Re: 0.4.0-beta2 stops downloading. Restart of SABnzbd needed.

I'm on Ubuntu Linux, so the output is always there. I showed that under 'stdout' in my original post. The thing is it only showed the browser connections, and no download/get info. My guess: the SABnzbd web interface engine is still running, but the rest of SAB has stopped, and therefore the statist...

Re: SSL on linux NAS box

I don't know about your NAS, but *I* needed "sudo apt-get install ..." on my machine.

0.4.0-beta2 stops downloading. Restart of SABnzbd needed.

My 0.4.0-beta2 had stopped downloading at 09:59. Since then no more logging in sabnzbd.log. Last lines: 2008-04-10 09:59:43,487::INFO::[sabnzbd] Loading data for SABnzbd_article_MPgCFu from /home/sander/SABnzbd-0.4.0Beta2/cache/SABnzbd_article_MPgCFu 2008-04-10 09:59:43,517::INFO::[sabnzbd] /home/sa...

Re: SSL on linux NAS box

As described in my other post (which you had seen), my SSL is working correct on Ubuntu Linux. A first check is to look in sabnzb.log for the SSL line:

2008-04-10 09:12:39,218::INFO::pyOpenSSL... found (True)

Do you see that line? If not, I guess the pyOpenSSL is not installed correctly.

Re: FYI: SSL on Ubuntu with 'sudo apt-get install python-pyopenssl'

The friendly people of www.yabnews.nl provide a free test account for three days, including SSL. Using the free account, SABnzbd is able to connect and retrieve data: [email protected]:~/SABnzbd-0.4.0Beta2/logs$ grep yabnews sabnzbd.log 2008-04-08 22:25:57,304::INFO::[downloader] [email protected].yabnews.nl:56...

Re: FYI: SSL on Ubuntu with 'sudo apt-get install python-pyopenssl'

It looks like the SSL of my provider XLned is not working at this time, so I can't test SABnzbd's SSL against that. However, Giganews does provide SSL, so I tested that with news.giganews.com and port 563. As I haven't got a Giganews account, I just filled out a dummy account. The result is good: "5...

had to create an new sabnzbd.ini for 0.4.0 beta2

FYI: I had to create an new sabnzbd.ini for 0.4.0 beta2, as using the~/.sabnzbd/ sabnzbd.ini for 0.3.4 resulted in no downloads: speed stayed on 0.0 KB/s.

After creating and filling and using the new sabnzbd.ini, everything works OK.

FYI: SSL on Ubuntu with 'sudo apt-get install python-pyopenssl'

FYI: Installing pyOpenSSL on Ubuntu to enable SSL is easy: just a 'sudo apt-get install python-pyopenssl' and a restart of SABnzbd will do. *Using* SSL: I have not been able to test that; xlned should support it on port 563, but I can't get a connection. Re: sendEmail.pl causes perl core dump on Ubuntu Linux 8.04 with unresponsive SM

PS:

- The same perl core dump happens on Ubuntu 7.10.
- I found sendEmail on http://freshmeat.net/projects/sendemail ... _id=188519 and it's 1.55, so I can't get anything newer.

sendEmail.pl causes perl core dump on Ubuntu Linux 8.04 with unresponsive SMTP

Hi, sendEmail.pl causes a *perl* core dump on Ubuntu Linux 8.04 with a unresponsive SMTP server (my guess: if the SMTP does not answer the closing dot in the DATA part of the SMTP session). Logging in SABnzbd: 2008-04-01 22:37:16,415::INFO::[email] Starting email program ['/usr/bin/perl', '/home/san...

Re: BInd to multiple addresses (and ports)

0.0.0.0 works for IPv4, but not for IPv6 like http://[::1]:8080/sabnzbd/queue/

I see CherryPy 3.0 was released on 2006-12-23, so indeed that should contain the mutiple-interface change I linked to.

BInd to multiple addresses (and ports)

Hi, It would be nice if SABnzbdplus could bind to multiple addresses (and maybe ports). That way, SAB would be reachable on all it's IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, i.e. 127.0.0.1, 192.168.1.72, 2001:888:197d::1 and maybe it's host name. I know nothing about CherryPy, but hopefully this gives a solution: h...

Re: 0.3.0 IPv6 on Vista

Shypike, have you tried www.go6.net; it does *not* use AICCU, so it's worth a try on Vista.
