Re: Free Newsservers

Well, it's exactly like I said. :) So, did you visit http://test-ipv6.com/ with your Windows Vista/& and check what that site says about your IPv6 ...? Yeah 0/10 until I run the tunneling software to get an IPv6 address...if you are not running tunneling software to get a IPv6 address then whoe...

Re: Free Newsservers

In addition to @Vyp3R's post, I would like to say: A plain Windows Vista/7, with Microsoft Security Essentials (and NOT other anti-virus software / firewalls), with a plain Internet connection (just NAT, no corporate proxy) should have a under-water working IPv6 connection. Test via http://test-ipv...

0.6.8 Server Host Name Glitch

Whatever host name you use for a server when you create it won't change when you update it. Clicking "Save Changes" does not update the name displayed. Example of what I'm talking about is in the screen shot below. Not a big deal, just annoying. http://content.screencast.com/users/Gigahert...

Re: Free Newsservers

Hey Vyp3R I got my ipv6 setup but couldn't get test.news-service.com working, it wants a user name and password and when I go to enter something greater then 6 characters like you said, it just says invalid in sabnzbd. According to (http://www.appelboor.com:8888/report.html) it says test.news-servic...

Re: Free Newsservers

@kelemvor These are the three I use: - reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl Connactions: varies 14 to 25 Retention: 100+ days IPv6 They were giving out free registrations (username and password) to test this server, but have stopped doing so a while back. So if you still have one, hold on to them like gold. Recen...

Re: Sabnzbd won't sleep or do any of the "On Finish" commands

is there any way to make sabnzbd automatically go to sleep at a set time? SABnzbd is not a universal scheduler. All events in the scheduler are tied to SABnzbd-specific functions. However, if you set Windows to go to standby after some idle time, then scheduling a pause_all will make Windows go to ...

Re: Sabnzbd won't sleep or do any of the "On Finish" commands

0.6.3 and 0.6.4 had a bug preventing end-of-queue actions to complete. For hibernate and standby we use the appropriate Windows system calls. However, it's not always easy to predict what they do and whether they work. Thanks for the info.  Also, is there any way to make sabnzbd automatically go to...

Sabnzbd won't sleep or do any of the "On Finish" commands

None of the "On Finish" commands work for me, I tried them several times on my laptop running Windows Vista with all the latest updates of course as well as on my friend's Windows 7 computer with all the latest updates.  Both computers have no trouble being put to sleep manually or automat...
