Re: Downloads 1.8GB file, completes with only 524KB!!

So: the cause is clear to you?

FWIW: You could consider turning on the Pre-Download Check; in cases like this, SAB will detect the non-availability on your newsserver, and will not try to download it.

Re: PAR2 repair failing

What happens when you do a manual par2 repair on Ubuntu? And then a unrar?

Re: [0.7.4] cannot disable osd notifications

FWIW: No problems here on my SAB 074 on Ubuntu 12.10: I check and uncheck the OSD box in Config -> Notify

Re: unable to redirect download directory

OK. Probably best that you create a new thread in this same Debian/Ubuntu Package forum with subject "uptodate SAB on Raspbian: PPA?"

Re: joining at 36,000%, sysload at almost 10

79.7% of your 8GB memory? That's impressive indeed.

If you stop SAB 0.7.4 and run SAB 0.7.3 on the same queue, does or doesn't it happen?

Re: unable to redirect download directory

you the man! thanks, that worked. Lastly, if I may, where has this installed sabnzbplus to? I'd like to upgrade to the latest version as this has given me 0.6.15 Awesome, thanks for helping me out. How do you want to run SABnzbd: from the command line, or as a service? If you want to run from the c...

Re: unable to redirect download directory

perhaps best to uninstall and start again? Yes, indeed. And really remove all SABnzbd files you created. I find the instruction you used overcomplicated. It's best to do a fresh install of the OS on your Raspi SD-card. A plain "sudo apt-get install sabnzbdplus" should be enough With SABnz...

Phew... I did it. Qemu after all. I am so happy now. Sander do you have paypal? I want to buy you a beer. :) Donate to me? Why? That's very nice, but please donate to SABnzbd instead: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=670741 (link from the SABnzbd donate page)...

Re: unable to redirect download directory

You did not answer my first question ... ... but I read the setup instruciton you used, and my question was right on: you're running sabnzbd as another user 'nzb' or 'sabnzbd' which does not have writing rights. Here's how to solve that: cd /media/NAS/_Usenet sudo chmod a+w * Then try SAB again. EDI...

Re: Another way to connect

Can you describe some features? Is it just a browsing site, and can you click to get a .NZB file? Or can NZBzapper also push NZBs into SABnzbd via the SAB api?

I browsed a bit, and I see movies of 18 MB ... which is too small for a movie, isn't it?

Pity.

Can't upgrade the whole NAS to a more recent Fedora that has a supported unrar version?

Re: How do you setup Sab on your home network?

There are NAS-devices that can run SABnzbd, and there are (modern) TV's than can play content over a network from a NAS, fileserver or DLNA-server. So, yes it is possible. EDIT: so the easy answer is: some (modern) TVs have a media-player built in. EDTI 2: and there are (do it yourself?) media playe...

Re: How do you setup Sab on your home network?

I recognize that completely: that's the reason I bought a HDX-100 years ago: a media player that can download NZBs However, I can't advice you on current media players. Oh, wait, a few advices: buy a media player that's - ready-to-run, so: plug it in, and use the remote control to control it - open,...
