Re: [Python] sabnma - Notify My Android PP script.

This seems to rely on Linux installed Python? What about people running SAB from Windows EXE? How does this work for us, please?

Yes you can, just not in a post.
You can email the info (preferably with the NZB and the URL of this post) to [email protected]
Is it [email protected]?

If so, you'll have to wait for the next (minor) release for a fix.

Not sure if this is me being dense but recently I have started to get lots more files failing to DL and unpack. Example; (Removed) Please read the forum rules . Thank you. But the PAR files were downloaded and worked perfectly with QuickPar which fixes and allows unpack. Its almost like Sab is not r...

Re: Windows still going to sleep whilst downloading

So, is there or is there not an issue with SAB and Sleep? Curious really but I am wondering about using Sleep as my wife claims she can hear the PC at night (need to club her harder!)  8)

Re: Confused about Categories?

Apologies.. I got confused with having the path set in categories but also having TV sorting enabled. Works fine now I fixed my TV sorting prefs.

Rather embarrasing!!

Re: Confused about Categories?

For newzbin, only the top level category is used (so "consoles" in this case). The rest are "attributes" and currently we don't support them. Thanks Shy, can I also ask a related question re category paths I'm running Windows and have my TV category set to "H:\TV (ongoing s...

Re: Confused about Categories?

At the risk of looking too much like a noob, I am also confused

Can I use the Newzbin sub-categories eg PS3 to send PS3 files to a different location or do categories only work on the top level category (ie Consoles in this case)?

Re: Sabnzbd Growl

Shy, Is there any news on Growl support being added to SABnzbd? I see the posts above confirm that Growl is for Mac and Windows but it seems that it can be used with Python too (http://the.taoofmac.com/space/projects/netgrowl) which might help make it more universal? Personally as someone using a NA...

Re: Unofficial Google Chrome Extension

Minor issue, it currently reports its still downloading something, but the queue is empty, so most certainly isn't! Yes I noticed that and was checking here to report this bug. Its a great extension tho... and its one of 4-5 addons or extensions that had prevented me moving to Chrome from Firefox. ...

Re: (Unofficial) Ubuntu repository for SABnzbd+

Might seem obvious to some but "WHY"? Whats wrong with a standard apt-get install sabnzbdplus from the command line and use that?

Was just about to install SAB on my XBMC Live (Ubuntu based) Asrock 330 and paused....

Re: sabnzbd doesn't start

I installed 0.4.6 over my previous working SAB and now my SAB wont start. Did the above and got it telling me port 9000 (which I have for SAB) is already in use.

How can I clear the port so that SAB can use it (again) ???  Thanks

Re: sabnzbd and apache2

Thanks to Shy for the email. It didnt work but made me look again at the issue. If I had used my head I would have looked in the LOG and seen it was refusing a localhost connection. So I replaced with IP address and it works fine. Strange, I can use localhost for uTorrent but SAB needed a specific I...
