Should I make directory first?
No, SABnzbd will make it ... but only if SAB can make it ...

Can login onto the Synology, and

Code: Select all

ls -al /volume1
and post the output here?

Re: Synology DS212j Directories and space

So you have three partitions: Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/md0 2.3G 497.9M 1.8G 22% / /tmp 121.8M 972.0K 120.9M 1% /tmp /dev/vg1000/lv 912.5G 55.2G 857.2G 6% /volume1 You should point SABnzbd to somewhere to /volume1, both for Complete and Incomplete, and to a location that SA...

And can you login to get a prompt? If so, type "df -h", and post the output here.

Re: Synology DS212j Directories and space

Yes, I can OK, that's great: via the webinterface you can set the Folders that SABnzbd should use. So ... point it to where the disk space is. FYI: You probably have different partitions. And probably a small system partition (a few GB), and you big disk. SAB is now pointing to the small partition....

Can I copy and paste the code as is, or should it be entered line by line?
Line by line is safer; check each output.

Re: Synology DS212j Directories and space

Which SABnzbd package did you use (I believe there a few different versions)?

From where did you download it?

And which instructions did you follow to install and configure it?

Re: sab 0.7.3 not downloading additional par2 files

I think SAB will only download par2-files when they are needed. So, if they are not downloaded, SAB apparently thinks the rar's are OK. You could check the log file to see if there is any info.

In the retry you can 'feed' SAB ad additonal (NZB?) file. Have you tried that?

Re: Can't find sabnzbd.ini file on Raspberry Pi

Thanks Sander, your instructions worked and automatically restarted the wizard for me at the next restart. I'm off to find instructions to install unrar-free now, they're either on this forum or on raspberrypi.org. Assuming you're using Raspbian, see here: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopi...

Re: Further Notification Flexibility

Can't you do this right now via a post-processing script? Just a "wget https://www.blabla.com/blabla/$1/$2/"?

Re: Can't find sabnzbd.ini file on Raspberry Pi

Thanks so much! I'm sure I looked in the home folder already, and it was empty, will check later. If I remove the .ini file will that prompt a restart of the setup wizard? The directory ".sabnzbd" starts with a ... ".". That means it is invisible. You won't see. So ... just exec...

Re: Quick one on Init.d script

I would try this:

save sabnzbd.ini (just to be sure)
sudo apt-get remove sabnzbdplus
sudo apt-get install sabnzbdplus

Re: Can't find sabnzbd.ini file on Raspberry Pi

The location is ~/.sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini (with a tilde): the tilde means "home directory". So pi@raspbian-armhf-SJ ~ $ ls -al ~/.sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini -rw------- 1 pi pi 3234 Aug 31 07:34 /home/pi/.sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini pi@raspbian-armhf-SJ ~ $ If you want to avoid this (possibly difficult) tild...

Interesting indeed. http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/6799 telss CPU-switching causes cache misses, and "Thus, cache miss rates grow very large. CPU affinity protects against this and improves cache performance." I did some affinity tests on my Ubuntu Linux (but not yet download speed te...

Re: Changing Temp folder

A few things: 1) If you manually / directly change something in sabnzbd.ini, stop SABnzbd first ... otherwise SAB will overwrite it. 2) if SAB starts and the other drive is not available, SAB will revert to the default folder 3) SAB does (often) not understand things your (Windows) PC does understan...
