Re: Media Rover

Lockzi, I sort of proposed an idea about fetching old eps to Kierse a while back but I actually forget it :P For older eps I am catching up on pro-actively I use nzbindex.nl or nzbclub.com. Both have good searches and great retention. Wally, your idea sounds interesting. I don't see any flaws. It so...

Re: Concept: Sabnzdb+ built in search component (other index sites to be added)

I'd like to add nzbclub.com to semels incredibly good list. I've come to the same conclusions :D It's not only retention that plays a large factor, but also the results themselves (of course) and nzbindex gives considerably better results than binsearch. Not sure on nzbindex vs nzbclub. They both ha...

Re: Password Detection

This is a superb idea to an issue I've been struggling with lately too. Only that kind of action doesn't really fit into SABnzbd's design. I might have it wrong here but I think the idea fits in with the principles of sab really well. More automation. Less user interaction. Less worry and hassle. Sh...

Re: recommendations for tool to fetch new tv episodes?

Using PADS means relying on myepisodes, but it's big advantage is that you don't need to set anything up (if you alreaduy use myepisodes), in my opinion. The other options you mention are the biggies :) Episode Butler is stable. Works well. You just need to add your shows once and it's pretty set an...

I'd love to see a cleaned up version of some of the free indexers too. RSS would work right? Then there's no stupid scraping which I know is hated.

Re: Using nzbs.org categories in RSS downloads

Shypike, nzbs.org is simply 'registration required'. Not that I use it alot, but I'm a member and i recall no invite :) EDIT before post: Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. The signup page says 'Not now'. I just had a look at the forum on there. There's no mention of closing registration. It may be a temporary thing. Y...

Re: [Beta 4] Newzbin msgid backup

I just want to say I have mixed opinions on this, and I haven't figured out which is better yet.

Both functions are required by myself - often.

Perhaps a(n?) 'allow dupes on this one' option somewhere.
'allow dupes for 5 minutes'

This conundrum requires some thought =/

Re: TVbinz.net IRC channel

The 88th? rule of TVbinz is that no mothers may be in attendance unless it is the third annual mothers convention at LasVegas and the TVBinz meet is also there. If this applies mothers may indeed be allowed entry but only if conditions 35.1a through 38.1a are met wholly. The 89th rule is that no-one...

I'll rather wait for a fix and get duplicates in ...

*cough 0.5a9
*another cough Windows XP is it means anything

I just manually ran Media Rover then and it definitely is MR that's causing the warnings. It may well be a sab issue though, occurring whenever something uses API.
I ought to update to beta 3 anyway so I'll do that today and get back to you

Re: Media Rover

You (and rollingeyeball I think) are running Windows whereas I'm running Linux, I suppose that might have something to do with it.  Do me a favour: can you turn on authentication in SABnzbd and set the username/password in Media Rover and see if the warning goes away?  Maybe I just need to pass emp...

Re: Media Rover

Hey bnevets27. I hope i can help you a bit. I can't get the episode sorting to work though. I get this: Surround the path to episodesort.py with double quotes. D:\Python26\pythonw.exe "D:\Program Files\mediarover\episodesort.py" It's do do with the space in 'program files' Not sure if this...

Re: Sick Beard (ALPHA) - Download/sort/rename episodes, XBMC/growl integration, more

I was looking at this the other day and I was considering posting here about it myself! It looks pretty good, so congratulations. The day i was looking you made like 5 updates in a day.  That's impressive. Currently I'm using Media rover to download my episodes and I'm more than happy with that, but...
