Re: pa2.exe 100% Disk Usage
Sorry to revive an old thread but I think I only just found the answer today! My page file was only 710mb, microsoft recommend setting the minimum to your amount of ram, so I have 4GB - 4096mb, and the maximum as double this for all drives, 8192mb. This seems to have fully solved the problem for me....

File name with Punctuation
Dear Sabnzbd forums,
Is there a way to retain some punctuation when sab unpacks? I am downloading several different files with a range of different punctuation and sab removes it all. Any way around this?
Thanks,
Max

Re: pa2.exe 100% Disk Usage
I'm sorry! It's been a really long day - I didn't mean to write newznab, I meant newsleecher!
Disabling multicore doesnt really seem to make a difference, as its still a fairly powerful cpu.

Re: pa2.exe 100% Disk Usage
Hey again, So I've been doing loads of searching and I thought it may have been another process but it turns out it is sab. I have tried using the -t- parameter that I read about in another thread but that doesnt seem to help. Also tried -t0 but again no difference. The computer is completely useles...

Re: pa2.exe 100% Disk Usage
Thats true, I'll add it into exceptions.
It turns out the disk usage problem may not be totally from sab, windows is doing something weird :S Processes not showing up in task manager but using everything i have thanks for your reply though!

[solved] pa2.exe 100% Disk Usage
Hi guys, Been trying to find a fix for this. The process is set to the lowest priority in task manager and I've set '-t0' in par2 parameters. I get the usage for repair and then extract with the extraction process. I read somewhere about setting antivirus not to scan the incomplete and complete fold...

[Solved] Sab getting stuck
Dear Support, I have entered my api key for nzbmatrix and also created an RSS feed to grab my favorites (as the API wasnt doing anything). Sab will correctly grab my bookmarks, but then the item just sits in the queue and does nothing. I have tried click pause and then resuming, but its not doing an...

Re: Computer switching off after sab install
I've been working with computers for years and I'm very puzzled. I have tried to re-create the problem using torture tools and cannot, it was the most bizarre situation. I hope it doesn't happen again.

Re: Computer switching off after sab install
Hi again,
I have now run memtest for 24 hours, and prime 95 for 24 hours without a single problem. The issue has completely stopped since I cleared that one item from the queue and has never happened before now. The issue only happened when I clicked repair...doesnt that seem a bit coincidental?

Re: Computer switching off after sab install
I'm sorry, replying from my phone and it won't let me edit. I was going to say that even though it hangs, it shouldn't cause my computer power to cut out?!
