Which version of SABnzbd are you using? This has been reported before, but was supposedly fixed in a previous release:

Maybe it's a combination of all of that plus the specifically malformed NZBs you were trying? You could upload some sample NZBs here for sander to try if you want:

FWIW: I checked my own Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS, and it indeed has TLS1, and not higher: 2016-02-06 23:06:12,164::INFO::[sabnzbdplus:1367] SSL potentially supported protocols ['SSLv23', 'SSLv3', 'TLSv1'] 2016-02-06 23:06:12,164::INFO::[sabnzbdplus:1368] SSL actually supported protocols ['t1', 'v23', 'v3'...

This might be obvious, but are you absolutely sure your username and password are correct?

SickBeard is abandonware. Try switching to the Sick Rage fork, or ditching both and moving to Sonarr.

Re: Suddenly very slow download speed
Besides the things mentioned in this thread, I found something else that helps: Lower the number of retries (Config > Switches) and lower the timeout on each of your servers to something like 20sec. Especially that last one helped a lot for me, since it wouldn't take SAB 2 minutes (default is 120 s...

Only a few indexers support feedback, that's probably what you're experiencing.

Re: SAB fails a lot of downloads
Google DMCA Removal/DMCA Takedown. There are options in Config -> Switches -> Queue called "Abort jobs that cannot be completed" and "Check before download", but in my experience if you're on a fast connection then they're more annoying to turn on than just letting the files fail...

Re: Script to remove subtitles from mkv using mkvmerge avail
Serious question: why would you ever want to remove subtitles? They literally take up like 0.01% of the filesize. I can't think of a single reason to remove them even if it took no effort at all, nevermind wasting time running programs and scripts to strip them out.

Re: How to set group permissions at the start of downloading
0.7.16 was released way back in 2013. The first thing I'd do is update to at least 0.7.20 and see if that fixes the issue.dtemp wrote:Any suggestions? Thanks. I'm running 0.7.16.

Re: Repair failed, not enough repair blocks nearly everytime
FWIW, using a default 0.7.20 install on Windows 7 with no extra PAR2 parameters it downloaded, repaired, and extracted just fine, without running "-N". In case it's helpful, here's a pastebin from the Debug log:

Re: Repair failed, not enough repair blocks nearly everytime
I'm confused on the Windows support. Has the Windows version always used -N and now you're just adding it to *nix? Or will we need to wait for the next beta for -N support in Windows as well?
