Re: https://forums.sabnzbd.org/ not accessible anymore?
I'm pretty sure phpbb sends emails based on whichever domain you logged in through last, so new URLs should be http not https. If you find this isn't the case, let me know and I should be able to force it.

Re: https://forums.sabnzbd.org/ not accessible anymore?
https for the forums had to die. Options were "Keep SSL, but be completely unreachable whenever traffic spikes" or "Use CloudFlare and have to give up SSL". Barely anyone used SSL for the forums, so it was tough to justify keeping it. If there's enough demand we can look at getti...

Re: Anyone use googleTV?
GoogleTV is Android, so to my knowledge no you're out of luck. There are other ways, though. You can set up a "cart rss feed" for pretty much any newznab sites, which lets you indirectly send things to sabnzbd on a ~15m delay. So, you go to your newznab-site-of-choice, add something to you...

Re: How do I backup sabnzb?
I tried to find files in: Unix $HOME/.sabnzbd, as I am running Synology, which has (IPKG) Linux under the hood. But there is not Unix $HOME/.sabnzbd directory (?) Might this be different because it is Synology? You may be looking under the wrong user's home directory. It'll be under the home direct...

Re: Sabtosickbeard stopped working on DOgnzb
When i select the same show in Dognzb it does not pick up Category or apply the script ???? You just need to configure the category detection, under SABnzbd -> Config -> Categories -> Group / Indexer Tag. For DogNZB (and most Newznab sites) it's Cat > Subcat, so putting in "TV*" should su...

Re: NZBMATRIX had closed
That is not NZBMatrix. That's just a Newznab site shamelessly piggybacking on the NZBMatirx name.flaflip wrote:Seems like they have continued?

Re: Sabtosickbeard stopped working on DOgnzb
Well, as you mention, was Sickbeard running or not? SABtoSickbeard isn't something that's indexer-specific, but it sure as hell wouldn't work if Sickbeard wasn't running.

Re: Addon to enable web-less API-only newznab sites
Ok, so you don't need SABnzbd to do anything, you need to get somebody to make *another* third party addon to work with these.
Before that gets rolling you're going to need at least one public example of this for developers to work against.

Re: Addon to enable web-less API-only newznab sites
If there's no web interface, how do you run manual searches? How would you expect end users to interact with them? For things like Sickbeard integration, that should Just Work, and SABnzbd by extension should have no problem using NZBs sourced that way. Are you asking us to additionally build a fron...

Re: Add new index site
See the announcement thread. The "Index Configuration" page was not an endorsement, it was only there because those indexers were crap and required explicit configuration. No other indexers require such configuration, they all Just Work.

Re: Just another newznab site?
If you can cover the bandwidth and are ok with the exposure, go ahead and open it up. It's pretty much guaranteed that you'll make someone happy. Just keep an eye on the server performance, and close up reg if you start having performance problems.

Re: RSS downloaded episodes
The only dupe-checking SABnzbd includes is if you give it the exact same NZB twice. Anything beyond that is considered out of scope for SABnzbd itself, and is likely better handled by a third party app like Sickbeard.
