Re: Installing on CPANEL
If your only access to the system you're trying to install through is CPanel that's not going to work. It also likely means you're on some over-sold shared web host, and installing SABnzbd is likely a one-way trip to getting your account terminated.

Removed your log as it's against the rules.
It looks like a Sickbeard problem, though. Sickbeard is finding what it thinks is a new release and sending it to SABnzbd. It may be a quality thing, where Sickbeard thinks it's upgrading quality but really isn't.

Re: Cloud Storage and hosting
I'd argue the first answer is a no as well, Sander. He's looking to save directly to cloud storage, which isn't how box, dropbox or mega work. Saving to an s3fuse mount would technically be what he's asking for, but it would be a terrible idea. Instead, it sounds like what he wants is a VPS Seedbox,...

Re: Getting an error and downloads won't work
Are you using SSL or not? 443 is an SSL port. If you don't have the SSL box ticked it won't work.

Re: No Index Site Options in Wizard ?
I then thought I also had to pay for a NZB search service like MZBmatrix.com. 1) You never had to pay for an indexing service. There have always been free alternatives to the paid ones. 2) Similarly, you never had to enter indexing credentials into SABnzbd, you only had to do so for Newzbin or NZBm...

Giganews is most likely wrong. Use everything available to you and try to come to your own conclusion.

Re: SABnzbd and Newsgroup Provider Login
SABnzbd only keeps open connections to Astraweb during active downloading. If SABnzbd is paused, all connections should clear out immediately. If you don't believe this, you can test it yourself, by watching what happens on the connections page ( /sabnzbd/status/#tabs-connections ) right after you h...

Re: Everything i try to post is flagged as spam
We don't officially support running SABnzbd on Android. You can try, but you're probably going to have a bad time, especially running on something as low-powered as an OUYA.

Re: Giganews Mimo
Mimo doesn't process NZBs. You're effectively using it as a poor indexer that doesn't search cross-groups. If you've already got SABnzbd up and running and have indexers, then there's no point to Mimo.

Re: How does the SSL work?
Sander, it sounds like he's talking about NNTPS, not SSL for the web UI. While we don't show NNTPS connection info, I believe SABnzbd would fail on an invalid cert similar to Chrome (Self-Signed, Mismatch Domain, etc), though I can't think of a time I've ever come across this being an issue, or can ...

Re: New .NZB format spec: inline files + API access to downl
You're getting hung up on downloading files from arbitrary sources. Anything involving SABnzbd downloading stuff from outside of Usenet is going to almost certainly be considered out of scope. I'm trying to give you an alternative option that doesn't require vastly extending the functionality of SAB...

Re: New .NZB format spec: inline files + API access to downl
OK. By the way, there's one thing we didn't discussed concerning your proposal: How do you get access back to nzo['more_info'] from the post-procesing script? Does the post-processing script have to make an API call to SABnzbd to read this variable when the job is done or is there another convenien...

Re: New .NZB format spec: inline files + API access to downl
Yeah, we discussed this at length on IRC friday. As I see it, the two features as-described are pretty out-there. The first request is to have SABnzbd download arbitrary files from arbitrary web URLs passed in via the API. To me that's clearly out of scope for SABnzbd. We download stuff from Usenet,...
