Well, it could be a malformed .NZB too: so too little par files, or non-matching par files.

Run SABnzbd from a console (so: sabnzbdplus), and wait until it stops. Then check what's in the console screen.

The most easy way is to just use what you have now from the Raspi repository. Running from source is easier, but it is more difficult to auto-start sabnzbd. Using the PPA is more difficult on Raspi, but the PPA will take care of everything. I repeat my advice: consider just staying on the Raspi vers...
