Could you send me example NZBs where you are getting too many samples?
It should only not delete them if all files contain the word "sample" or "proof" or in case there's only 1 file.

Have you added all your servers in SABnzbd? Which ones do you have? The NZB Download Checker will only do a simple check, only when we actually download the files we can know for sure if they are available. When you click on the item in the History, at "Download" what does it say in the de...

Via the logs in the email we found that the Direct Unpack works directly to the NAS, but sometimes gets paused due to racing conditions when we can't name the file correctly yet and the Direct Unpacker cant find the file.

It should Direct Unpack to the final folder, on your NAS. Does it not do that?

Just to note that this only works for Rar files, since it's an option we add to the UnRar command.

The category sorting is actually there for a purpose: the matching of indexer tags inside the NZB's and inside the headers of the indexers are searched for in the order that the categories are listed. This way you can for example have "HD 4k" category and a "HD" category for ever...

The download code didn't change in 2.3.9, so I would be a bit surprised to see this having any effect.

If the problem is what Puzzled describes, you can also use the Config > Special option "ignore_unrar_dates", which will set the date of all unpacked files to the current date/time.

Anders zou ik willen voorstellen om SABnzbd (en de instellingen) te verwijderen en opnieuw te installeren.
Ligt het mogelijk niet aan de bestanden die je probeert te downloaden? Mogelijk zijn deze al verwijderd van de server.
