Re: Unpacking VERY slow
What is the speed if you save locally on your built in hard disc, and not NFS?

Re: certain .NZB gives exception and stays (blocks?) in queu
Ah ... the .NZB itself looks ugly:
<segment bytes="12274" number="1">[email protected]</segment>
as the only segment. However, SAB 0.7.4 thinks it's 28 MB ...

Re: Mappen in Synology
/Volume1/Download lijkt me de goede plek.
Gaat het download wel goed als je 'handmatig' een NZB aan SABnzbd geeft?

Re: Cannot allocate memory while running rar_unpack
What kind of system?
Does it happen all the time? Also with small downloads?
Can you log onto the system (ssh), and try a manual "unrar x ..."?

certain .NZB gives exception and stays (blocks?) in queue
A strange one: A certain .NZB gives strange results on SABnzbd: exception errors, and the NZB stays in the queue and blocks further processing of the queue. NZB generated via http://binsearch.info/?q=Projects.XZ&max=100&adv_age=1100&server= Behaviour is a bit different on 0.6 versus 0.7....

Re: SABnzbd keeps saying authentication missing
It works, the warning must be triggered by something else Well, then the solution is easy: Change SAB's listening port from 8080 to something else, for example 8090. Start SABnzbd, and check that there is no authentication missing message in your log. Then switch your first application to port 8090...

Re: When can we expect SABnzbd-0.7.4-1.fc14?
So "hansvon" creates the packages, right? I see he is active in the thread https://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?t=4305 ... so maybe better to ask there, and not here in the Ubuntu/Debian forum?

Re: When can we expect SABnzbd-0.7.4-1.fc14?
Anyone know when FC14 will be ready? Maybe first explain whay you mean by "FC14"? If it is Fedora Core 14: - this is a debian/ubuntu forum - I think you mean a SABnzbd package for Fedora Core? The SABnzbd development only provides packages for Windows and OSX (and source code). - So ... w...

Re: Understanding Sysload values
So I'm I right in thinking a solid '2' would mean a dual core CPU is fully utilised? or i could have up to a value of '4' for a Dual Core (with Hyperthreading) cpu? Is that taking into consideration your 'rule of thumb' is based on a single core cpu? I would think so ... however, my laptop, with a ...

Re: synology DS+ and cannot create final folder issue
You need a ssh (or telnet) session to your Synology.
To be honest; that was the reason I didn't reply to your question: A lot of Synology users know how to use their Synology, but know little about its internals. Which is OK, but makes debugging and helping difficult.

Re: Understanding Sysload values
"man uptime" says: System load averages is the average number of processes that are either in a runnable or uninterruptable state. A process in a runnable state is either using the CPU or waiting to use the CPU. A process in uninterruptable state is waiting for some I/O access, eg waiting ...

Re: Download failed - Out of your server's retention?
See the FAQ : http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/faq#toc11
To be honest: with all the DMCA removals on certain (US?) newsproviders, the message could better be: "Download failed: content not available - Out of your server's retention, or removed?"
