Re: 0.6.0Beta2: warning: none -> Unknown encoding
Afterwards, SAB is reporting "» Download failed - Out of your server's retention? ". Better than the "Unknown encoding" error. However, wouldn't it be more correct / informative if the message was: » Download failed - Post not available on your newsserver(s). Out of your server's...

Re: Mac OSx Lion - Sabnzbd 0.6.0
So you're saying that the special address 0.0.0.0 doesn't work on OSX Lion? And that you have to use the real IP address? Yep, I think thats it. It works fine with the local 192.168.1.2 IP and fails to open the GUI when set to 0.0.0.0 Does it work if you fill out '::' (without the quotes)? Does it ...

Do you mean access to SABnzbd from a computer on your local LAN, or from a computer on Internet?

Re: Can connect remotely from my network but not from outside.
Thanks for the reply. I tried changing the port to 33675 which I picked at random but I now get this error when I start sabnzbd . . . "Welcome to SABnzbd.py 0.5.6 SABnzbd needs a free tcp/ip port for its internal web server. Port 33675 on 0:0:0:0 was tried , but it is not available. ...

Very carefully read Reply #11 (by Shypike).BlkStrider wrote: now it's giving me this error:

That should answer your question.
Anyway: I'm unsubscribing from this thread.

060b2: "413 Request Entity Too Large"
Probably low prio, and probably not 060b2 related: Trying to add a certain .NZB, I get no response in Plush (both Firefox and Chrome) Trying to add the .NZB via the secondary interface /m/ (= Classic - darkblue), I get: 413 Request Entity Too Large Entity is too large. Here's an improved 7z-unpack script for Windows. Including GOTO's ... yeah! ;) @ECHO OFF cd %1 if exist *7z ( echo "File with *.7z found. Unpacking it ..." 7za x -y *7z if %ERRORLEVEL% == 0 ( goto OK ) else ( goto NOTOK ) ) else if exist *7z.001 ( echo "File(s) with *.7z.001 found. U...

Re: multi format unpackaging: .zip, .rar, .iso, .7z, .gzip, ...
@trog, I've created a 4-line batch file to handle 7z-unpacking on Windows. I've tested it on Windows XP, and it works. Contents of the 7z-windows.bat: cd %1 if exist *7z 7za x -y *7z if exist *7z.001 7za x -y *7z.001 echo Finished It will both handle *7z files and separate *7z.00x files. Here's the ...

Re: Add clickable recover-executables "SABlocalhost" and "SABcleanini" to SAB
I was helping a Windows user with a non-starting SABnbzd (060 version), and I already saw "SABnzbd Safe Mode" in the Start list. Is it already implemented in 060? No, it's called Safe Mode, but it's nothing more than SABnzbd-console.exe. It's a misnomer. The "new" safe mode will...
