Re: Stop Uploading?
I'm not sure if this is possible, but is there any way to stop uploading from happening after/during a NZB is being downloaded? I'm on a college network that doesn't like P2P traffic, and also they ban using your MAC address. As long as I'm here, how can I be sure my MAC address doesn't get tracked...

Re: missing dependancies 11.04 desktop via USB boot
Do you have universe and multiverse enabled as repositories? You can do it via the Software Center.

Re: /etc/default/sabnzbdplus missing?
So, did you "sudo apt-get install sabnzbdplus" (which is needed), or did you download the tar-gzip-file?

Re: Capped Download speeds?
What's the exact speed reported by SABnzbd? And you do know the difference between MBps and Mbps?
EDIT: SABnzbd reports MBps, whereas your ISP uses Mbps. There's a factor 10 between them. So a 30 Mbps Internet connections will give you a SABnzbd 3 MBps speed.

Re: Cannot access user profile
Can you post the error message as text and as a screendump? I'm surprised you get the error message in a browser window.Rhowells wrote:Sorry, I meant I got the message from sabnzbd in the browser window when I started it, after having created a dummy .ini.

Re: Cannot access user profile
So it's a message from the Operating System (Windows) or your virus scanner, and not SABnzbd. You should try to solve it in the Operating System or virus scanner. Check the rights, or turn off your virus scanner temporarily.Rhowells wrote:I created a blank one but got the exact same error message

Can you manually create / edit the file %userprofile%\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.ini ?

I guess the post's out of the retention of your newsprovider, and/or your newsprovider is not carrying that newsgroup.

Re: Auto retry for JOB where we get CRC EROR
If you do a (manual) retry, will that result in a successful download? If so, is it a brand new upload, and where you too early to download? If not, I wonder how the retry can go OK ...

Wasn't SABnzbd warning you in the upper left corner with "Warning: <blabla>"?Gimlei wrote:
Just wondering, is there any way to detect this earlier and show a warning to the user?
If not, you will certainly see "missing from all servers" in the sabnzbd.log.

Re: Speed shows az 0 KB/s (even though it's not)
Using Firefox 7.0.1, but just tried it in IE 9 and same issue - speed shows up as zero. Is it an old post, out of your provider's retention? Because if that's the case, SAB will show the behaviour you see. And the MBs 'passing' are fake; it's only an indication SAB is working its way through the NZ...

Stop SABnzbd
Rename (or remove) the directory structure C:\Users\Aaron\AppData\Local\sabnzbd
Maybe also rename (or remove) sabnzbd.ini

Re: Delay in Browser Access
What's the size of C:\Users\Aaron\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.ini ? And can you open it in an editor (notepad) and does it show normal content? What happens if you stop SABnzbd, rename / move C:\Users\Aaron\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.ini , then start SABnzbd, fillout the wizard, and restart SAB...
