I believe shypike's advice is always to check the download speed with another newsgroup downloader like Grabit ...
And my advice would be to use a wired connection as a test

Re: download time missing in history for very fast/small job
I can confirm this (running a cvs/git version of SAB pre-070):
"Size 3 KB
Downloaded in at an average of 140 KB/s"
"Size 3 KB
Downloaded in at an average of 140 KB/s"

Re: Sabnzbd crashes (SSL ?)

Re: Sabnzbd crashes (SSL ?)
Ah, a Segmentation fault. Great. ;-) The good news: I don't think it's a SABnzbd itself; a python script can't cause a segfault AFAIK. So find out which program is causing the segfault: you have to let it create a core dump file. Open a terminal, type "ulimit -c unlimited", then start SABn...

Re: 0.6.8 - Nothing showing in queue
Yes, I see it within the queue that way. But I enjoy the way the Plush skin is and the layout. Seems just not to show up on the Plush theme... Just tried classic black. If you can live with brute force, I would do this: Stop SABnzbd De-install SABnzbd, and make sure it's gone in Program Files *. An...

Re: 0.6.8 - Nothing showing in queue
Yes I cleared my browser, all of them. Chrome, IE and FF. When I went into the other browsers it still was not showing anything in the queue. It also shows up in my connections that I have something downloading. Aha, next check then: in http://localhost:8080/config/general/ , at "Secondary Web...

Re: 0.6.8 - Nothing showing in queue
Downloading works yes, as it is shown in the chrome extension. But for some reason i cannot see the file in the queue on the original page. Files work, get processed and moved to correct place. But ... did you clear your browser's cache? And: if you use another browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, IE),...

Re: Slow download speed on new PC
Ziggo has it's own newsserver (see https://www.ziggo.nl/#producten/interne ... wsservice/). What happens when you use that newwserver (and only that newsserver) with 4 threads: which speed do you get?

Re: speeding up unrar?
So, what is the timing on your downloads? If you click on a download in the History overview, you'll get the details. Here's an example of a DVD5 I downloaded: Path /home/sander/Downloads/complete/bbb009.M4E.DVD5 Download Downloaded in 30 minutes 3 seconds at an average of 2.5 MB/s Repair [bbb (2009...

Re: speeding up unrar?
hi... the unrar'ing of HD files still seems to be the biggest slowdown for my setups... I am on OS X... I did a little research and it seems I should have yenc-0.3 installed... any way to ensure i do... and anything else i should be / could be doing? thanks! FWIW: In my experience, unrar is only re...
