Re: Take a look at this? Weird.

"fails" as in "SAB can not download it all, and gives an error afterwards, and that happens quite *fast*"? If so: the post is not available anymore more on the server. Could be retention, or DMCA. And then it only *looks* slow because: 1) the number of bytes downloaded is low, 2)...

Re: 50M download speed ISP but slow download for sab

First of all: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/faq#toc30 . So SAB reports 2.4 MB/s (not the capital B, meaning byte), which is 24 Mbps. Furthermore: are you using a wire? (Needed for optimal speed) what does http://speedtest.net/ report when SAB is not running? what 'plan' / maximum speed have you bought fro...

Re: downloads don't start

Running SABnzbd as root is 1) not necessary and 2) possibly dangerous Having more than one sabnzbd.ini can lead to confusion. As you have noticed. So problems are building up. Therefore, *I* would do this: completely remove sabnzbd (via sudo apt-get remove / purge), remove all sabnzbd.ini's, remvoe ...

Als je Windows en Linux met elkaar wil vergelijken (zoals je titel suggereert), dan zou je Linux moeten draaien op je PC-hardware, en dan de SAB-snelheid meten. Je verg...

Re: How to open download path?

In general that wouldn't work as the SABnzbd can be running on a remote machine, whereas the directory shown in History is local to that machine.

Re: downloads don't start

"localhost" and you can still access SAB on the raspi from another computer? That must means SAB is using another sabnzbd.ini or config that the file you checked. So, last attempt: go to the tab Config. That page shows a line "Config File": 1) what is the filename? 2) what shows ...

Re: downloads don't start

No, do not change HOST or PORT in /etc/default/sabnzbdplus. Can you change it back to empty, so HOST= and PORT=. You should change it in SABnzbd itself. So, in SAB's webinterface, go Config -> Server, and on that page find "SABnzbd Host" (at the top). What does it say? Change the value to ...

Re: downloads don't start

sabnzbd runs on the raspberry pi, i i configure it on my pc. so must use the ip. If you set the Listening Host to 0.0.0.0 on the sab config page (or sabnzbd.ini), it will work. And you should not get the ugly error message (see below) do you see any problem in the log? Yes: 2012-10-03 20:42:19,160:...

Re: downloads don't start

Can you start without the --server 192.168.178.24:8080 argument? It is not needed: SAB should be able to find out by itself.

It will probably not solve the not-downloading problem, but it gets rids of the ugly messages.

Oh wait: you do get a SABs web interface, don't you?

Re: downloads don't start

pastebin ... did you google it? First hit ... Anyway: nevermind pastebin; you posted the log.

Can you react on the three advices I gave you? Otherwise I get the feeling I'm posting in vain, and that would not be good.

PS: why do start with 192.168.178.24:8080?

That makes four advices/questions

Re: downloads don't start

Check if SABnzbd is paused: right upper corner and per download item.
In the configure server page click on test server ... what does it say?

Pastebin possibly can handle big files. But the six warnings are more interesting so can you post them here?

After installation and a successful night downloading the link http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd/ is no longer working and Internet Explorer reports that the page is not found. I am running the latest version of SABnbd on a Windows 7 OS. What am I doing wrong? Did you start SABnzbd itself at all? Click...
