Do you mean with "remote log in" from the same LAN, or from work (through the internet)?
If from the internet, consider using teamviewer. I use it to controll computers from "outside", and it works great.

Re: Set number of connections for time range
This is not something for SAB, but for your router. I have the same situation, slow (4Mbit) ADSL, but with QoS (google it) I prioritize SAB with the lowest priority. This means that when I download something from another computer, the router squizes SAB (sometimes till a speed of 5 kbyte/sec) until ...

Failed download because of bad password
Hi, The unpacking of my download failed because of a bad password. I have a retry option (and can include an extra .nzb file), but how do I enter a new password? Could the retry option in the history also have a new password field? It seems that my only option now is to unpack the download manually....

Re: 0.7.12 - stops on corrupted files, doesn't advance to pa
I have the same problem, went back to 0.7.11 and the problem went away. There are no changes in 0.7.12 (relative to 0.7.11) that deal with par2 files. I'm not saying there isn't a problem, but such a problem would be in both versions. I'll see what I can do. Almost all files that I download are 20+...

Re: 0.7.12 - stops on corrupted files, doesn't advance to pa
I have the same problem, went back to 0.7.11 and the problem went away. To me it seems that is a par problem. The par process was still running after 12+ hours (normally takes 30 to 60 minutes), and consuming 10 to 20 % of the CPU. I tried classic par and multipar, both the same problem. I had no pr...

Re: Please help SAb7.11 is shutting down
Last 2 attemps, then I'm out of ideas...
1) No new/other software installed since this SAB started behave like this?
2) Look in config/folders/system folders. See where you log directory is and get the last 50 or 100 lines of the log when SAB has done a shutdown. Maybe something is in there...

Re: Please help SAb7.11 is shutting down
I don't think that would help. If SAB doesn't run, then resuming isn't going to help.
Does the machine itself reboot every night (updates/...)? Did you check this?

Re: Server retention error, how do I find excact file needed
Let SAB do the work. Configure both servers (the most expensive one as backup), and SAB will use both servers to get all the file/parts that are available.

Re: Passwords
I just rename my .nzb files before I put them into the "watched" folder to: "Movie Name (year){{password}}.nzb". SABnzbd imports the .nzb file and renames it in the user interface as "Movie Name (year) / password". Do not use qoutes for the password.

0.7.3 Bug: watched dir ignores cyrillic named .nzb files
Hi, I have 2 files waiting in the "watched" dir: Королевство кривых зеркал (1963){{Rus by usenet-4all.info & rusenet.org}}.nzb Волшебная лампа Аладдина (1966){{LAMusenet-4all.info & rusenet.orgPA}}.nzb All other, non cyrillic filenames, work as expected. They get processed and SABn...

True, this is something you build yourself.
Look at http://www.smallnetbuilder.com for reviews of NAS-appliances.

Prioritize fill/backup servers
Hi, I have several block accounts to fill missing parts. Some accounts are more expensive then others. It would be nice if I could tell SABnzbd to use serverX before looking at serverY. No need for a graphical frontend (would be great though), just use the backupservers in the same order as they exi...
