Re: speeding up unrar?

I did a little research and it seems I should have yenc-0.3 installed... any way to ensure i do... and anything else i should be / could be doing? thanks! FWIW: In my experience, unrar is only re...

Re: from where is logging "Article ... missing" done?
I can't believe that: news.tiscali.nl is a text-only newsserver (which I put there as kind of reference for a server with a retention of 0)shypike wrote:So you want to know which server had the article?
It says here:

Re: Nothing works - SAB 0.6.8 on PowerMAC 10.4.11
Is SABnzbd running at all? Open a terminal, and type ps aux | grep -i sabnzbd If so, check which port: netstat -a -n | grep -i listen If SAB is not running, find SABnzbd.py (or by which name the SAB application is known on Mac OSX), open a terminal, and run the SABnzbd.py from within the terminal; y...

Re: from where is logging "Article ... missing" done?
With --log-all I still don't see positive alerts; only "missing". So please help me: where can I see the article was available on eweka (which I can only implicitly deduct from the logging) sander@R540:~/.sabnzbd/logs$ grep ea6dnRJH7Yrt1STQnZ2dnUVZ8s8AAAAA@giganews.com sabnzbd.log 2011-08-...

Re: from where is logging "Article ... missing" done?
It says it does that in line 587 of downloader.py :) Successful articles are already logged by the decoder. If you insist on seeing more logging, add the command line option --log-all OMG! I thought that was a PID or thread id. Never realised it was the line number. I don't see successfull download...

how use samba share's UNC as SAB's download dir?
(Not a *package* question, but a SAB on Ubuntu question) Short: can SAB on Ubntu directly use a Samba share via it's UNC? Long: I have a Samba share (guest accessible, readable and writable for all, so writable for guest) under the name //r540/sharing aka //192.168.1.53/sharing. I can access that dr...

Re: HTTP and HTTPS
Sure. As long as you don't mix up the HTTP and HTTPS with the outgoing newsserver connectionsecoSix wrote:Can I also use 9095? I would like to be able to log in to the interface from SABnzbd and get my normal SSl from my provider.

Re: HTTP and HTTPS
You're mixing things up: 1) HTTP and HTTPS are only for the access to the user interface of SABnzbd itself. You can/should keep them on 8080 resp 9090. 2) SSL 563 is for encrypted outgoing access to your newsserver. So, set your newserver access (configure it via http://localhost:8080/config/server/...
