[*] rescepy [automated ReScene reconstruction.]

sweetie wrote:dbznbas: Probably one day.

I've been meaning to start a Python rewrite - may get around to it soon.
Okay, got around to it last night.

Everything seems stable, although it hasn't been tested under Windows at all (be careful!).

Apologies for bump.

Re: [LiNUX/OSX/BSD - bash] autsmuxer [v4 - MKV2VOB for *NiX]

scjgreen: Are you running the latest mkvtoolnix (5.5.0)? The behaviour you're describing is caused by an outdated build.

If so, I'll take a look over the weekend.

Re: [*nix] rsigh - Post encrypted files to Usenet.

I agree with Shypike. It would be handy (honest?) if the subject of your tool's posts would say "... encrypted / password protected" so that it is already clear in binsearch that it is encrypted. As mentioned, the subjects (headers) are UUIDs. eg: 2731882d-3f83-4665-ae7d-b81a5c669335 [01/...

Re: [*nix] rsigh - Post encrypted files to Usenet.

Hmmm, I think just about everyone on this forum dislikes encrypted posts. We even added code to SABnzbd to detect them as soon as possible. Ah, I should probably clarify: this isn't for spamming or creating 'complete this survery to access the files' posts - the headers are uuids only. It's more in...

[Python - *nix] rsigh - Post encrypted files to Usenet.

Hi, rsigh is a Python script (*nix only) for posting passworded and encrypted files to Usenet. https://github.com/dryes/rsigh * TrueCrypt volumes with headers stripped ensure your files are virtually inaccessible. * Ability to search and retrieve NZBs from command line - no manual work reqd. * Post-...

Just fixed a major issue with the new or recent mkvextract build. Please update to latest of both mkvtoolnix and autsmuxer if you encounter any problems (you will).

Re: [LiNUX/OSX/BSD - bash] autsmuxer [v4 - MKV2VOB for *NiX]

Right i have now figured out my issues are nothing to do with SickBeard. When i run autsmuxer in Terminal on certain MKV files this happens. Zeus:~ stevengreen$ bash "/Users/stevengreen/Library/Application Support/SABnzbd/scripts/mediamux.sh" -m /Users/stevengreen/Downloads/file1/file1.mk...

protocall: Unfortunately I'm rather strapped for time recently; you're very welcome to fork the code though and experiment.

Re: [LiNUX/OSX/BSD - bash] autsmuxer [v4 - MKV2VOB for *NiX]

SDplinker: It may be worth your time looking into Arch Linux. It's far more minimal and infintiely better suited as an HTPC OS than any Debian based distro. This script, all dependencies and anything else you could think of are available in the repos. Saves you hours of manually compiling with the '...

Re: [LiNUX/OSX/BSD - bash] autsmuxer [v4 - MKV2VOB for *NiX]

SDplinker: It's most definitely bad permissions/missing dependencies then, should be all systems go once that's sorted. dashy: It just occured to me that aften is used to repair damaged AC3 files as well (damaged as far as tsMuxeR is concerned), these account for probably <5% of what you'll download...

If your install is x64 you may need to:

Code: Select all

apt-get install ia32-libs
too.

(Mint is Debian/Ubuntu based.)

That certainly seems promising. Good to know you've got everything set up (most probably).

Only thing now is to switch from torrents - you'll never go back!

Re: [LiNUX/OSX/BSD - bash] autsmuxer [v4 - MKV2VOB for *NiX]

The autsmuxer.sh errors are caused by the file having carriage returns as EOL. There's a tool called 'dos2unix' to sort this, it can happen if you transfer a script from a Windows machine, and even under some Linux editors. Regarding tsMuxeR source, you're probably right. I believe the source for an...

Re: [LiNUX/OSX/BSD - bash] autsmuxer [v4 - MKV2VOB for *NiX]

It will, you'll only need to edit the file, browse down to the line that reads: type_allpkgreq "mkvinfo" "mkvextract" "dcadec" "aften" "mencoder" "tsMuxeR" "${spdifconvert}" and remove 'aften', of course. Could run: sed -i 's/ &qu...
