Re: 0.4.0-beta2 stops downloading. Restart of SABnzbd needed.
A stop again. This time more logging, and "need more than 1 value to unpack" among others. And this time a restart of SAB doesn't solved this. :-( 2008-04-16 23:20:21,362 WARNING [downloader] Thread 1@newszilla6.xs4all.nl:119: failed to initialize 2008-04-16 23:22:21,449 ERROR [downloader]...

Re: Secondary and/or smpl does not Unpack and Delete files ?
I've deleted all categories, and things now work again as expected.

Re: 0.4.0-beta2 stops downloading. Restart of SABnzbd needed.
I'm using SSL too. But the main stream is plain text.
Should I turn off all SSL stuff?

Re: 0.4.0-beta2 stops downloading. Restart of SABnzbd needed.
A stop again. Symptoms: Web interface is still responding Speed is "Download speed: 1017.16 KB/s", and does not change Actually, there's no download at all. The ETA is regularly updated (raised) There is no logging on stdout, except my browser requests. "Connections" does show my...

Re: 0.4.0-beta2 stops downloading. Restart of SABnzbd needed.
I had a stop again. Don't know if it's the same type of stop: Download was now on 0 kB/s, and status was "Idle". The stdout logging is below. Network is still up and running, so that can't be the problem. 2008-04-10 14:00:47,465::ERROR::[downloader] Failed to initialize 1@newsreader3.eweka...

Re: Secondary and/or smpl does not Unpack and Delete files ?
Strange: even the first, Default interface does not Unpack nor Delete. The stdout logging says: 2008-04-10 13:52:45,691::INFO::[assembler] Starting PostProcessing on win 3keer.nzb => Repair:False, Unpack:False, Delete:False, Script:None So at least the logging is consistent with the result. ;-) I'll...

Secondary and/or smpl does not Unpack and Delete files ?
Hi, I see something strange: the result of the last 5 downloads is a directory full with .par and .rar files. So there is no Unpacking and no Deleting. My first guess is that this is caused by the fact that I am now using the second interface with smpl to add NZBs to the queue. I'll do another downl...

Re: 0.4.0-beta2 stops downloading. Restart of SABnzbd needed.
I'm on Ubuntu Linux, so the output is always there. I showed that under 'stdout' in my original post. The thing is it only showed the browser connections, and no download/get info. My guess: the SABnzbd web interface engine is still running, but the rest of SAB has stopped, and therefore the statist...

Re: SSL on linux NAS box
I don't know about your NAS, but *I* needed "sudo apt-get install ..." on my machine.

0.4.0-beta2 stops downloading. Restart of SABnzbd needed.
My 0.4.0-beta2 had stopped downloading at 09:59. Since then no more logging in sabnzbd.log. Re: SSL on linux NAS box
As described in my other post (which you had seen), my SSL is working correct on Ubuntu Linux. A first check is to look in sabnzb.log for the SSL line:
2008-04-10 09:12:39,218::INFO::pyOpenSSL... found (True)
Do you see that line? If not, I guess the pyOpenSSL is not installed correctly.

Re: FYI: SSL on Ubuntu with 'sudo apt-get install python-pyopenssl'
The friendly people of www.yabnews.nl provide a free test account for three days, including SSL. Using the free account, SABnzbd is able to connect and retrieve data: sander@ubuntu804:~/SABnzbd-0.4.0Beta2/logs$ grep yabnews sabnzbd.log 2008-04-08 22:25:57,304::INFO::[downloader] 1@news.yabnews.nl:56...

Re: FYI: SSL on Ubuntu with 'sudo apt-get install python-pyopenssl'
It looks like the SSL of my provider XLned is not working at this time, so I can't test SABnzbd's SSL against that. However, Giganews does provide SSL, so I tested that with news.giganews.com and port 563. As I haven't got a Giganews account, I just filled out a dummy account. The result is good: &q...

had to create an new sabnzbd.ini for 0.4.0 beta2
FYI: I had to create an new sabnzbd.ini for 0.4.0 beta2, as using the~/.sabnzbd/ sabnzbd.ini for 0.3.4 resulted in no downloads: speed stayed on 0.0 KB/s.
After creating and filling and using the new sabnzbd.ini, everything works OK.

FYI: SSL on Ubuntu with 'sudo apt-get install python-pyopenssl'
FYI: Installing pyOpenSSL on Ubuntu to enable SSL is easy: just a 'sudo apt-get install python-pyopenssl' and a restart of SABnzbd will do. *Using* SSL: I have not been able to test that; xlned should support it on port 563, but I can't get a connection. Quote from Beta announcement: "Linux and...
