Ok... Tried again on my imac... Doesn't work. So i don't know what the deal is with it and why it worked the last time, but it seems pretty random to me. On both machine it starts downloading at 1.6MB/sec (thats max for us here)! But as soon as i start working on other stuff, speed drops to 0 for mi...

Ok...now i am derribly confused... I did a clean install on my mac mini. Installed the exact same apps than on my imac and tried sabnzb&sickbeard... Terribly slow. How can that be? Imac and macmini are exactly the same right now but on my imac it seems to work just fine and on my mini it is like...

as i said... latest on friday i will try a clean install of my mac mini and see if it improves speed...

News.. So i did a clean install Mavericks on my iMac and kept the macmini the way it is... Installed sabnzb wit sickbeard so that i had the same configuration on both computers and downloaded a file. Same file (1GB) needed 14 minutes post-processing on the iMac and 45 minutes on the macmini. I went ...

I have a late 2012 macmini, so it should be "Newer" than yours;-)!
Where do you extract your files? Locally or NAS?

Sabnzbd is slower
XBMC is slower
So mavericks sucks for me:-(

so my mac mini and NAS are wired via 1gb switch. Before I upgraded to osx 10.9 I had the same sabnzbd settings as now, which are as follows - - incomplete folder on my NAS - Complete folder on my NAS When unpacking it was lightning fast, same speed as if unpacking to my local disk. Not sure, because my destination network for the download is not locally but stright away on the NAS where they should be extracted... Or maybe i don't understand it right? Is the problem more when the unpacking is done over network or locally? Did anyone also notice that the download itself takes l...

I noticed that the download process itself is a lot slower also on os x 10.9!
It downloads at normal speed, but the download speed drops dramatically toward 0 as soon as i work on something else on the computer...which it didn't before...

Hi people I was wondering if anybody else experience a massive slowdown since installimg mavericks on their mac?? Until now everything worked flawless but since my upgrade to mavericks the post-processing needs forever... The download speed seems still fine, even if i notice some massive drop downs ...

Until now i never had a problem with sabnzbd.
But i updated to osx 10.9 yesterday nd since then sabnzbd is very slow in post processing espescially unpacking...
Hope it is a known error and you can help??
When is this new version coming you are talking about?
