Howto: Delay Start sabnzbdplus in Ubuntu
I'm running a distro of XBMC LIVE that has sabnzbd+ pre-installed. It runs from init.d The problem is that I have a share mounting in my rc.local file, which runs after sabnzbd+. SAB needs that share, and if it does not see the share, it will alter back to the default. To contend with this issue, I...

Re: Completed Downloads folder resetting to default
I just wanted to mention that in the bugtracker this is noted as affecting one person, but 4 people have commented on it in the thread. I noticed it's not yet "assigned", so I just wanted to make sure it's still on-track for v6. I've tried setting permissions on the config file, but nothi...

Re: Completed Downloads folder resetting to default
shypike-
Thank you for adding it to this list, this is truly great news.
Just for the benefit of others passing by, the suggestion of setting the config file to read only, does not work.
At present I have not found any workaround.

Re: Completed Downloads folder resetting to default
I agree with all of you.. This happens to me *all* of the time and it has me pulling my hair out... This should be a very simple fix because you're simply removing a "feature" that probably was not intended and certainly is annoying because it deletes information that the user has configu...

Cleanup List not working
I've been running SABnzbd+ for several versions, auto-downloading TV episodes. Since the beginning, the "Cleanup List" has always worked for me. Sometime while using 0.5.2 (on top of xbmc live/ubuntu 9.11), it just stopped working. Nothing has changed (that I'm aware of). Later ... I ha...

No Dup Check (based on renaming rule)
For anyone that uses sabnzbd+ on a frequent basis with automatic-downloading/RSS, you'll get plenty of duplicate content -- even if you use the option to eliminate duplicate. To the best of my knowledge, the reason for this is that duplicates rarely ever have the same filename *prior* to the renamin...

Re: Limiting file size of nzb or queued file?
@zetor12- If you want a mixture of shows (some in 720p and some in SD) you might want to create two separate "Pipes" although you could do it in one. With pipes you can create limitless rules with AND/OR logic, so you could easily do it either by saying essentially "where matching sh...

Re: Need help with RSS setup
I posted the exact same type of information on this forum, but without screenshots. Go to this post: http://forums.sabnzbd.org/index.php?topic=3917.0 Scroll down to the longest post (2/3 of the way down). I explained all of the finer points / inside tips. If you can link-in the tutorial you found, ...

shypike, this goes back to our other feature request...
The ability to filter/pause when an attached file is named "password", so that we can avoid download that require password (those download almost always have a file named "Click here for password.html" or some similar thing).

Re: tvnzbrss not working?
He's right ... tvnzbrss is asking for problems. Stick with tvnzb.com alone (refer to our discussion on tvnzb and yahoo pipes)

Re: Limiting file size of nzb or queued file?
Eventually someone with deeper pockets needs to take over TVNZB, because it seems they just cannot handle the volume.
Alternatively someone could start a competitor and offer RSS subscriptions at a small cost, to subsidize the hosting costs.

Re: Limiting file size of nzb or queued file?
@bdavies- Make sure you're using the debug feature of Pipes. Down at the bottom of the pipes window, you'll see the list of what is being generated. If nothing is in that list, then nothing is being produced. To find out where the issue lies, you can "trace" it by clicking the first fee...

Re: Limiting file size of nzb or queued file?
Now we just need to figure out some method of accomplishing the holy grail of newsgroup auto-downloading: Sniffing out which NZB's occasionally refer to content that is zipped with password requirements. In all NZB's containing password protected files, there is usually an HTML or TXT file (could be...

Re: Limiting file size of nzb or queued file?
@fusen- Thanks a million for the post. I use Yahoo Pipes myself, so this was an easy addition. I had spent about 30 minutes looking all over for a method in Yahoo Pipes, but thought it was impossible until I noticed your demo. For you/others I have some related tips for Pipes, if you're interested...
