Re: Sabnzbd takes twice the time than reported (and expected
Hi sander, thanks alot, but this output from the debug log gives me exactly the same data as I showed in my first screenshot, it's only a more comfortable way than reading the screenshots from the GUI. According to this data, everything is fine, except for the time lost between the downloads. My the...

Re: Sabnzbd takes twice the time than reported (and expected
Hi sander, this is a pretty fast core i3 machine, unpacking only takes a few minutes with these small packages, the tooltip above the repair- and unpack-icons say about 1 to 2 minutes for each of the downloads. Besides, my machine starts a new download while unpacking is in progress. This problem is...

Sabnzbd takes twice the time than reported (and expected)
Hi, I have a huge problem with Sabnzbd 0.6.9, which I simply cannot solve. I run sabnzbd as a service on my Windows Homeserver (WHS). For example, I start a download at 0:00h, which is expected to take 3 hours. After the download is finished, sabnzbd reports that the download has taken 3 hours, the ...

Re: Incomplete files on WHS again, is there a pattern?
Hi, I have investigated this issue further. Fact is: - it happens with ALL downloads from 2 different usenet providers. But if the single archives are bigger, the chance for a successful repair are much higher, therefore I didn't notice that in the past, because the absolute amount of missing filesi...

Incomplete files on WHS again, is there a pattern?
Hi, I am still having huge problems with *some* (but not all) downloads I make using Sabnzbd on my WHS machine. Last night, I had a download of multiple archives, each of the different parts was supposed to be exactly 14.649 bytes in size. When the download finished, around 70% of the files were cor...

Re: CRC Errors on WHS
Hi, since I have similar problems, are there any more Memory diagnostic programs you can recommend. So far, I have tried: - Memtest86 (24hours, no errors) - Prime 95 Torture Test (12hours, no errors) I tend to believe that my memory (2 x 2GB Kingston Value RAM DDR3 on MSI H55M-E33 motherboard with I...

Re: Error unpacking ***.rar*2, but everything is actually extracted fine
Hi, I have had a look at abnzbd.log, but I find it very hard to read, since all the entries from this and other downloads are mixed up, i.e. chronologically. Is there any way to sort the logfile, so that I see only entries relevant to that single NZB? Nevertheless, I will send you the whole log if y...

Hi shypike,
thanks alot, I sent you a sample, but since so many nzbs are affected, I guess it is not related to the nzb itself...

Re: Error unpacking ***.rar*2, but everything is actually extracted fine
Sorry, I am sure what you describe is not the problem, it really happens with normal files only containing US-american ASCII characters. The problem seems to be that when Sabnzbd detects that a file needs to be repaired, that was called filename.r62, the repaired file gets the name filename.r62.1 An...

Error unpacking ***.rar*2, but everything is actually extracted fine
Hi, I have a very annoying behaviour: whenever I have a release downloaded that has been repaired, I get an error message that looks like thsi: Unpacking failed, unable to find xyz.part087.rar.2 but actually, evertything is extracted fine. I guess the .rar.[number] file somehow is related to a file ...

Re: About CRC Errors
Which XLned account do you have, lite/small/basic/plus/gold Are there any code 400 responses in the log? I am currently using XLNed lite, which offers 2.5MBit/s, which is still more than my current internet connection can handle. I haven't found any code 400 messages in the logging (I guess you mea...

Re: About CRC Errors
Have you ever heard of internet routers causing such problems? I reset mine about once a month because it screws up wireless connections. I guess the router was false alert, errors again. I strongly believe it's my usenet provider XLNed, any other user of this provider here who could test that?

Re: About CRC Errors
Thanks alot shypike for your help, I really do appreciate it :) I may have found another piece in the puzzle that might be causing problems: a reboot of my Fritz Box 7270, the internet router I use to connect to my DSL provider. I have rebooted the box, and since that time, all downloads were succes...

Re: About CRC Errors
I download them on my Windows Home Server, so the temp-files go to a mounted Share on the WHS server. Do you think this might cause the problem? I had the problem today again, and it's so anoying having to redownload single files and manually rejoin them :( For WHS is best to locate all your folder...
