Re: About CRC Errors

I've found that if I get a CRC error, it usually doesn't recur if I repeat the download.  So somewhere between the usenet host (I use newsdemon) and my PC something messes up, but it doesn't happen if I just download again.  It could be in the repair phase, in which case re-running PAR2 and unrar ma...

Re: What to do with CRC errors?

Thanks - great support all around.  I've turned on Post-Process Only Verified Jobs - sounds like that will weed out the broken RAR sets.

What to do with CRC errors?

I'm a little unclear on what to do when I get a CRC error.  I read in a another post that these are quite rare, but I seem to get them in about 1/10 of my downloads. Here's an example of what appeared in the history file: Download     Downloaded in 50 minutes 29 seconds at an average of 1.53 MB/s Re...

Re: Only some NZB files triggering download

Just installed 5.0beta and NZB files are loading and initiating downloads as expected.  Totally digging the tool - definitely makes the whole usenet process much easier.  Nice new features in 5.0, like the file association, pause by file, and the restart button.

Only some NZB files triggering download

About half the time, when an NZB file is loaded from the Watched Folder, only the NZB file is downloaded, not the files it references.  When this happens, I have to re-add the NZB file from the completed folder - then the download works as expected. The rest of the time the entire download starts au...

Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?

I compared the list of files to the files in the download directory and it looks like all the files were downloaded except for some of the PAR2 files. I also copied the folder back from /complete to /incomplete and renamed it to its original name. Should I try the download again?  Will SABnzbd redow...

Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?

A download I started last night is stuck with the status: [PAR-INFO] f-pndm: => trying to fetch 4 more blocks... The job doesn't appear in the download queue.  It did download a PAR file with 4 blocks and the entire set was moved to the completed folder _FAILED_f-pndm. Any suggestions on what to do ...

Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?

No, just one job in the History list (I assume that's what you mean by the post processing queue).  It looks like it's working though - I can see that the timestamps are changing on the files, and the status has changed to Verifying and is reporting the number of files that have been verified.  So f...

How Do You Track Post Processing Status?

Is there something in the UI that shows the post processing status?  A completed download just shows up on the History page with a status of Queued.

Thanks,
