Re: Sabnzbd deletes .gz files

Exactly!
Because every time we need to check all the files in the Watched folder to see if they are new and potential NZB files. So it's also bad for performance to set it to some general folder that you have other stuff in.

Re: Sort queue according to file size when nzb is added (The 2nd)

Try just this one (special for Synology):

#!/usr/bin/python3

Ah. Then enable Debug logging in the Status window and then after it happens again click Show Logging, it will show exactly how it processed the script and categories prio etc

Re: "Failed making"

This error is thrown by Python when it fails to make the temporary folders needed.

Yes, if it's in the Watched folder that's what it will do.

Re: Folder permissions: "is not writable at all. This blocks downloads."

The check we perform here is sinple: are we allowed to create a directory. It fails due to a Permission Denied error, but that's for you to solve..
Have you checked the parent folder permissions? Have you check the user and group that are running SABnzbd?

Could you paste the full script in the special code blocks?

Re: Sort queue according to file size when nzb is added (The 2nd)

Maybe remind me, but why nog just use the Auto sort function in Config Switches? It allows to auto sort based on side after adding each new NZB.

Re: Direct unpack fails

Seems maybe a timing issue. Try a different download maybe? For example the test download in the Status window.

Re: With Synology Docker, new folders no longer inherit permission

This is not a bug, this is a change in the way the Linuxserver docker works.
Please read carefully how to configure the Docker from the Linuxserver documentation.

You can't. That's not how this works.
You should read the Server Priorities information on the Wiki Servers page.

Re: Sabnzbd (3.6.0, Win11) always screeches to a halt

Can you run SABnzbd from the console? Go to your installation folder and run SABnzbd-console.exe
Then post the full output here or through pastebin

Re: How to move a Mac configuration to another disk?

If you update to 3.6.0 on your old system, on Config General at the bottom there's an export and import function. This will generate a zip file that you can then just import on the new device!

Re: Since 3.6.0 SABnzbd cannot handle large nzb files

Try zipping it before uploading.
We didn't change anything in the size limits though, so bit strange..
