Re: Error when update in Lucid Lynx
Uploading now. Should work although some debugging output may be shown. Once the newest version has been built and published (status here ), upgrading via aptitude should just work, synaptic may complain about broken packages on startup but its usual "Reload, Mark, Apply" sequence shouldn'...

Re: Error when update in Lucid Lynx
Indeed this bug is triggered only when the init script is not used, i.e. when the USER variable in /etc/default/sabnzbdplus doesn't have a valid user. So adding that there, as Striatum suggests, fixes the upgrade problem. Be sure to revert to your previous "empty" configuration by restorin...

Re: Error when update in Lucid Lynx
Unforeseen side-effect of some changes to the init script, fixed in 0.5.3~rc1-0ubuntu1~jcfp2. Thanks for reporting.

Re: Infinite Wizard Loop
The wizard comes up but never ends! After passing the final step (step 5), Sabnzbd restarts and takes me back to step 1 again. This in a infinite loop! Wizard should only come up if there's no sabnzbd.ini with server settings in it. Maybe some problem saving the ini? Without a debug log of sabnzbd ...

Might want to make sure dbus itself is actually installed too, other than that no idea.

Re: Ubuntu 10.04 Beta1 still has SABnzbd+ 0.4.12
After enabling Universe (or Multiverse?) , everything was OK. No surprise there, to get those errors you must have had multiverse enabled but not universe. That is asking for trouble, since any package is free to have dependencies from both their own and 'higher' repositories (with "main"...

There's even new items in the rss feed (which is on the same host, so it works fine), after silence from the 15th till the 25th. The forum feels like a nuclear disaster site, an internet version of pripyat.Stitch wrote:95.211.13.67 www.tvnzb.com

Re: Ubuntu Karmic - Google Chrome - How?
Is it possible to force SABNZBD to open Google Chrome instead of Firefox. Have never been able to figure out how to make Chrome the default browser in Ubuntu. Is there a command that can be added to the launcher that will do this? See the python documentation here , or try changing the default brow...

Zero byte jobs are accepted via rss and api
Just got a 0 byte job in the queue, with timeleft/age/size listed as 0:00:00/14717d/0B. Obviously, nothing is downloaded. This 0-byte job doesn't seem to hold up other items in the queue (regardless of whether 'Only Get Articles for Top of Queue' is set or not), and can be removed via the web interf...

Re: Sabnzbdplus segfaults on Ubuntu 9.10 x64
I had remtest run for 2 passes. Would you suggest to run it longer? I.e. is there reasonable chance that errors only start to show after 2 passes? Just asking, some people stop it after a single test. Two full passes seems enough to me. I have spoken with other people who also had a similar configu...

Re: Regex $ match not working?
In regexp $ means the end of a string. Therefore, 're:$name' by definition cannot match anything.

0.5.0 is in lucid/10.04 now, with the cherrypy3 code that comes with the program releases included in the package.
