Check the cooling and also the cooling paste between the cooler and the cpu. That tiny layer, too thick or thin, makes huge difference.

Sorry we don't make that client.. Maybe somebody else here knows, but personally also haven't heard about that client.

Also no popup about an error?
Could you run it from the console, to see the error?
