Re: using two usenet accounts?
First, make sure you're using both the US and EU servers from Astraweb. Second, if you're still having trouble after turning on both the US and EU servers, then yes, it's a good idea to add an alternate backup. To add a second account as a backup just check the "Backup server" box on the S...

This is a good idea. Thanks for adding it.shypike wrote:Release 0.8.0 will have the option of failing the job when the script returns non-zero.

Re: Empty NZBs and 404 Not Found
As jcfp suggested, the URL is coming from the indexer via X-DNZB-Failure. The URLs contain my API key for authentication, and most of the time the provided URLs work, but sometimes there's nothing there and the response is 404. In the example above the API key would be "0123456789" and the...

Re: [BASH] How to create your own postprocessingscript
By default the working directory for the script is the program directory (at least on Windows), so you probably need to manually change directories in your script to the one containing your extracted files. To test you could maybe make a simple example script that just outputs a directory listing to...

Empty NZBs and 404 Not Found
I've been getting a fair amount of Empty NZBs lately as reported by SAB. Here's an example error line: 2015-04-17 12:00:00,265 WARNING: Empty NZB file 0123456789.nzb [https://www.indexer.com/fail/abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz/0123456789] It's the same output in the +Debug log. It tends to happen on fai...

You could also just download a test file from alt.binaries.test or a Linux distro like Ubuntu.

FWIW, I get a little over 18MB/s, so there's at least a little more room there

Re: Debug Log stops logging
That's terrible, and I can see how frustrating that could be. Maybe for 0.8.0 when you're set to Debug mode you could try and detect when it stops logging, make the current log an archived log of sorts, and then manually start a fresh one? Obviously that's not necessary most of the time, but if you'...

Re: Debug Log stops logging
Good to know, it was driving me crazy.
Do you happen to know what the theoretical limit is? That way if I'm debugging I know when my last chances are to look at the log.

Debug Log stops logging
Hey guys, I've been trying to debug a few things with SABnzbd for a while, but I get frustrated because my log file stops being updated fairly quickly. Right now my entire log is only a 3 hour period from March 27th, which is literally a week ago, and there hasn't been any updates since then. The fe...

Re: Download stuck at 100%
What if you just copied the folder out of Incomplete and then deleted the job all together? Then you could try and salvage anything that actually did get downloaded, while getting rid of the stuck download?

Re: [Windows] Introduction to PowerShell Post-Scripting!
This is fascinating stuff. Because Batch is so limited I struggled to write script to accommodate my own uniquely specific post processing needs. And in fact, it still has some kinks simply because there's no way around them. It looks like I may need to investigate Powershell to see I can write a cl...
