Re: 2 Qnaps - drive says full. / SAB says 0.0 GB free space
Your target mount point. You originally created it as /mnt/qnap1/tv.

Re: 2 Qnaps - drive says full. / SAB says 0.0 GB free space
I'm still getting an error. Just to clarify I used Qnap1 and Qnap2 just to describe here. They are actually QNap and QNap-2. [~] # mount -t cifs //192.168.7.113/Multimedia /mnt/QNap/TV -o username=changed, password=again:) Couldn't chdir to /mnt/QNap/TV: No such file or directory Your target mount l...

Re: 2 Qnaps - drive says full. / SAB says 0.0 GB free space
Ah, so you're using the Multimedia share. You'll need to specify that share name instead of TV:
Code: Select all
mount -t cifs //192.168.7.113/Multimedia /mnt/qnap1/tv -o username=testuser,password=testpassword

Re: 2 Qnaps - drive says full. / SAB says 0.0 GB free space
What is the share name you're attaching to? Is it 'TV' or something else?

Re: 2 Qnaps - drive says full. / SAB says 0.0 GB free space
No worries. Let's assume you're using SMB on QNAP1 (SMB is the default sharing protocol). SSH into QNAP2 as the 'admin' user, and make a directory to mount your remote share (from QNAP1) at: mkdir -p /mnt/qnap1/tv Then tell QNAP2 to mount the TV share (located on QNAP1) to your new mount point on QN...

What are the LAN IP addresses for each QNAP? Which is QNAP1 & QNAP2?

Re: 2 Qnaps - drive says full.
Thanks mate. https://i.imgur.com/ATzmuh9.png Best-guess (until the OP responds) is that the location they've configured in SAB for Downloads is one of the remote share mounts available in the QNAP FileStation app. These are mounted onto a very small drive: [~] # df /mnt/ Filesystem Size Used Availab...

Re: 2 Qnaps - drive says full.
Beware using that mount location: QTS won't reliably give the same mount the same path each time the share is mounted. Might be better to manually mount the share from QNAP 1 on QNAP 2 (at the CLI)... that way you can ensure it'll always mount to the same place. Not sure, but I think I've read in th...

Re: General Help
That sounds like as good an explanation as any. 👍 Yes, torrents are hosted by many people, and if you’re lucky, enough of those people will be online so your specific chosen torrent download will complete. Usenet servers are very large data arrays. There are a few of these. You pay to access them. B...

Re: General Help
No, indexers are a bit like Google, Bing, Yahoo, and so-on. Indexers are essentially search engines, but only for NZB files. Usenet providers are companies like Newshosting, Astraweb, Frugal, Giganews… there’s a bunch of them. Don’t purchase access from different providers on the same backbone… all ...

Re: General Help
Hi Rob and welcome to the forum. :) Your examples are correct, but Usenet operates in a different manner to torrents. You’ll generally need more than one Usenet service provider. This is most useful when articles are missing (via DMCA takedown, retention limits, etc…) Different Usenet service provid...

Re: Unable to connect to server.
Sorry, I’m not a Windows user so I can’t help there. It might be your Windows firewall settings.
