Re: Stop refresh when tab not active
Yeah, there might be something said for making that switch. I have Chrome installed, and use it every now and then, but my day-to-day stuff is all done in Firefox. The idea of trying to set up Chrome with all my settings and addons just how I want it seems daunting though

Re: Stop refresh when tab not active
It doesn't when I first open Firefox, but after being open for a day or so, as the RAM usage gets high, it starts to slightly stutter when scrolling long pages. If I scroll up and down it happens every 1 second, and if I change the refresh rate to 2/4/8 it stutters on those same intervals. If I clos...

Re: Stop refresh when tab not active
This would be great for main page content, but what about the title bar? Plush updates the <title> text along with the body, so you can see progress in a tab's title. If we only refresh when the page is active, this functionality would be lost. Good question, and I agree that I like that to see whe...

Stop refresh when tab not active
I like keeping a tab with SABnzbd loaded so I can check on it every now and then. And when I do check on it, I like it to be set to a 1 second refresh so I can truly see what's going on for monitoring/testing purposes. What I don't like is that when I'm browsing other pages it keeps doing a constant...

Re: Really need help with annoying problem!
It's possible your indexer is sending it to you before it's propagated to your server. I know there was talk about adding a propagation delay into SABnzbd 0.8.0, but I don't know if that ever materialized. You said you're using DOGnzb and Sickbeard. I imagine Sickbeard has a way to delay, but if it ...

Re: Really need help with annoying problem!
Out of your server's retention means it wasn't found on the server, i.e. it was removed by DMCA Takedown.

Re: missing articles
safihre's recommendation of Astraweb as a backup block account is a good one. Be sure to use both their US and EU servers as they have different takedown policies.

Re: missing articles
It's DMCA, or the Dutch equivalent. All Usenet servers have some sort of similar policy. You need a block account to fill in the missing pieces, and you really need to try and automate so that stuff is downloaded right after posting.

Re: Tons of duplicate downloads..
Sounds more like a problem with your indexer pushing you duplicate versions.

Re: Glitter - A new modern template
Having it show the current status makes the most sense to me. If people are confused then you could put a tooltip when they hover over them explaining what clicking it will do. Just my 2 cents.

That website isn't a Usenet Provider, it's just one to get NZBs. Here's a list of Usenet Providers:

Re: Ratings question
No need to apologize, just letting you know that you'll get better answers from them than here. In a lot of ways ratings are subjective. For example my instinct is to rate/report anything with a password, but for all I know your indexer uses passwords intentionally. Or maybe you belong to an indexer...
