SABnzbd-0.4.0 Beta5 working great
Fantastic is all I can say!
I have to admin i havnt tried the other betas but this rocks. Best feature IMHO is the categories and the simple way of using them in the watch folder.
Something must have been done with the speed since Im reaching 57Mbps from giganews
Thanks for great work

Re: Connecting throught SSH
There are no plans for socks and other firewall support. Very few home users have these and also SABnzbd is not exactly targeted to businesses. Your best bet in this case is to find a way to have a secure remote desktop from home to work. Using COPssh and Putty is a great combination. It's very wel...

Re: Understanding RSS text filter and regex
Regexp is very tricky and since ther is no easy way of knowing what SAB will pick up I prefer running the feed through yahoo pipes. Here is an example http://pipes.yahoo.com/underpirate/tvnzb render it as rss and paste it into SAB and your ready to go...

Re: Tried everything, cannot run as service in XP
I had one mayor issue with SAB and that was user rights. I just downloaded the exe files and not the setup. I had to change the user right on all files used bu SAB to allow my service-user to access and write to the folders used. Give it a try and see if it helps.

Re: multiple nzb blackholes easy organising
The second suggestion with folders inside the blackhole would be great.
PS. try NZBS.org for those precious nzb's and in my opinion newzbin isnt as easy to get an overview of what to get..

Re: Run as a service natively
Difference between a native service and an external command like "srvany" to make it run like a service is that a native service is created to handle the start/stop/pause events sent by the SCM (Service Control Manager) If you wouldn't use a native implementation, stopping SABnzbd using s...

Re: how to: RSS with TVnzb
Great work: I made an alternate version of your pipe. Configure it here http://pipes.yahoo.com/underpirate/tvnzb_show_select by entering a show name to filter. Resulting rss feed will look lite this: http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=374374d32d861b039d92f7220ecbe030&_render=rss&forma...

Re: PostProcessing doesnt work?
did a remake for my friends: First download the Windows 2003 Resource kit from the Microsoft site and install it. Next, assuming that SABnzbd is installed in c:\bin\sabnzbd, do the following steps. run in a cmd window: instsrv SABnzbd "c:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\srvany.exe&quo...
