File checking but not set that way?
When I send NZB's to SAB it seems like it is doing a file check, which takes forever but none of those switches are turned on. It will stay at 1KB/sec until it does whatever it is doing, then once that finishes it starts to download. I viewed the log and there's nothing in there at all that would ex...

Something happen recently?
Just recently, Sab logs are full of just about every error I can think of . Errors from many of my indexers too. Just seems odd.

Re: Not deleting folders after download
Which temporary folders? User folders / temporary download folder That's where Sab throws everything it downloads and then post processing picks up. It is supposed to move, rename the download to another location (which it does) but a lot of times (not %100 of the time) the unprocessed folder it mo...

Not deleting folders after download
I have Sickbeard and Sabnzbd+ running on my Windows workstation along with all my databases and other things. After Sickbeard hands off the NZB to SAB to download it doesn't completely delete the temporary folder that's on my unraid server. I have to go in there manually on a daily basis and delete ...

Re: CHECK BEFORE DOWNLOAD option
See http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/configure-switches-0-7 Thanks. After turning off all that checking this, check that, it just ran better and it never really worked to good anyway. Spend 5 minutes checking "something" when I could download the entire package in 30 seconds. Makes sense for me to...

CHECK BEFORE DOWNLOAD option
What does this option do? It seems once I turn it on all SAB wants to do is CHECK files at 1KB/s speeds and just hold things up. If I can download a 2GB file in less than a minute and know weather it is a good file or not, why would I turn on checking, waste the 5 minutes of whatever it is doing, th...

Failed downloads...
I use Sickbeard to hand off NZB's to Sab and download my TV shows that way. A lot I've seen many TV shows never process correctly. The Sickbeard status bar will be in PINK color and indicate an NZB has been snatched but the file doesn't download with Sab. If I take that same NZB that is saved in my ...

Re: Passworded RAR's and using password file
Thanks for the numerous responses. It did prompt me to re-check everything further. I eventually found out that for some very odd reason the password file that I had set in the folders options was all botched up. It was almost like a binary file when I opened it. I don't know what happened to it. So...

Re: Passworded RAR's and using password file
Based off JDownloader's password file (Which, considering it's a PASSWORD FILE , I assume is the exact same) all it does is when it receives a RAR file with a password, it'll loop through each password (Most likely separated by a \n) and attempt it on the rar file. However, if you REALLY want acces...

Passworded RAR's and using password file
I created a password file. Put the password in that file. Set this in the folders section. When I select the NZB to download it starts to download, but then tells me there is a password and stops downloading. Is that what the password file is for, SAB will go out and try the password(s) listed in th...

Multi usenet servers...
I've signed up for another usenet service. It is an unlimited service so I don't have to worry about how much I grab from it. I know when I add a server to Sab and mark it as a BACKUP server it will be used just as that...when the first server can't get what it wants or times out, it will go onto th...

Re: Not downloading...
I left it whatever it was. I did make a change to "check" the download which does a check before it actually download and I think that was confusing me.shypike wrote:Which refresh rate did you set under Options?

I'm running 0.7.7. Sometimes Sab will just stop downloading and I'll have to reboot the computer to get it going again. Like right now there are 12 connection indicated to my news server but the speed indicated is 0. When I hit refresh the megabytes indicated does rise up, so I know something is hap...

64 bit windows?
Now that 64 bit Windows OS is more popular and used more and more then 32bit will a 64bit Sab be available? I'm trying to switch all my software to 64bit and I've gotten everything so far except Sabnzbd and Sickbeard.
Thanks.
Thanks.
